"Rampage in Bamenda today, December 3rd, 2025, as heavily armed men kidnapped three individuals in the Nkwen neighborhood. A motorbike seller at Ghana Street and two others at Mobile Nkwen were taken. After encountering traffic congestion on their way back, the gunmen fired randomly into the air, and security forces in the Nkwen neighborhood responded, with residents seeking hiding places in their shops, streets, and houses. The kidnapped individuals, who were on four motorbikes, were taken to an unknown destination. It's not even a month since the nursing mother and wife of the motorbike seller at Ghana Street was kidnapped and later released after a ransom was paid, and today the man has been picked up again."

Statement from the SDF Electoral District President of Dibombari.

As Campaign Director for candidate Joshua Osih in the Dibombari constituency, and based on the official minutes (procès-verbaux) in my possession, I wish to commend the clarity of the people’s expression as reflected in the polls on October 12, 2025.

The people have spoken with conviction and wisdom. In Dibombari, as in many parts of the country, voters clearly expressed their desire for renewal, justice, and truth. I wish to congratulate candidate Issa Tchiroma Bakary, who, according to results from our polling stations, received overwhelming support from the electorate.

I also extend my appreciation to the ELECAM municipal branch of Dibombari for its professionalism and rigor. Their commitment ensured a peaceful, transparent, and credible electoral process, meeting the expectations of a true democracy.

Beyond political affiliations, this election marks the defeat of a stagnant system, symbolized by a long-entrenched presidency. The outcome represents a historic turning point in our nation’s journey toward a vibrant, pluralistic, and accountable democracy.

I pay tribute to all citizens, party militants, representatives, and supervisors who carried out their duties with dignity and vigilance. The respect of the people’s will is now a non-negotiable democratic principle.

History will remember that on October 12, 2025, the Cameroonian people spoke — and it is now up to everyone to listen.

Gabriel Ngomsi
President, SDF Electoral District of Dibombari

ABDOURAMAN HAMADOU BABBA CALLS FOR A MASSIVE AND USEFUL VOTE FOR ISSA TCHIROMA BAKARY

“The Time for a MASSIVE and USEFUL Vote Has Come!”

Dear compatriots,
Dear People of Change,
Dear brothers and sisters,
Dear parents,

Just a week ago, I invited you to keep our future in our own hands until the very last moment—to decide on the candidate best placed to lead us forward.

Three days before October 12, 2025, in light of the realities on the ground, the time for choice has come—and the option is now crystal clear!

In the absence of an agreement among opposition candidates, the people have given us clear indications by massively rallying behind one of the 12 contenders.
The penalty taker has finally been chosen in the person of Mr. Issa Tchiroma Bakary (ITB).

Today, there is no longer any doubt: candidate ITB is the useful vote.
He is the best standard-bearer for reclaiming our nation, restoring the people’s future, and reviving the stolen dreams and hopes of several generations of Cameroonians.

Candidate ITB is the most capable of defeating dictatorship and ensuring the triumph of democracy.
Even more so because he has made four strong commitments:

A solid system for monitoring the vote and compiling results based on authentic tally sheets from polling stations;

The defense, by all legal means, of the people’s will as expressed through the ballot;

A transitional governance period, limited in time, at the end of which a two-round presidential election will be held;

A government of national unity, including all branches of the opposition, to resolve social and political disputes and address urgent issues.

As a citizen for whom 43 years of Biya-RDPC dictatorship are truly enough, and as a committed member of the People of Change determined to reclaim our destiny, it is my duty and responsibility to fully take part in this march toward our freedom and that of future generations.

Dear compatriots,
Dear People of Change,
Dear brothers and sisters,
Dear parents,

Next Sunday, October 12, 2025, let us vote for candidate ITB.
I invite you to give him our votes.
Together, let’s create the conditions for him to score this penalty clearly—why not with a Panenka?

I solemnly issue a cross-party call for a massive and useful vote in favor of candidate Issa Tchiroma Bakary—a massive vote that will discourage ELECAM and the Constitutional Council from any attempt at fraud.

Whatever your political background, let’s unite to end this very long—and too long—night, so that the sun may shine again over our Cameroon.

On October 12, let us vote for ourselves.
Let us achieve what political leaders have failed to achieve:
Let’s unite, let’s come together—in and around the ballot boxes.

Together, without hesitation, let’s strike hard!
Let’s vote massively for ITB, and let’s not stop there.
United as never before, let’s monitor and defend the expression of our will.
Let’s strike very hard!

Long live Change! Long live Freedom!
Long live our Cameroon under better prospects!

ABDOURAMAN Hamadou Babba
Cameroonian Citizen (For whom 43 years of the “New Deal” are truly enough!

Bamenda University community must support Paul Biya's candidacy. The exhortation was made by Philemon Yang, the Chairman of the Regional Campaign Commission for the DRPC in the North West, during an inaugural meeting as part of the election campaign, this October 09, 2025, at the University of Bamenda in Tubah Sub Division of the North West Region of Cameroon.

On the occasion, the academics and University authority reiterated their gratitude to the candidate Paul Biya for all the achievements already achieved in the university and pledged to vote for him unanimously, in order to see several other projects achieved in this university.

Subject: Clarification and Reaffirmation of Democratic Values.

It has come to my attention that a recent statement I made concerning the upcoming presidential election and the payment of salary arrears to workers of a public company has caused confusion, concern, and offense among members of the public.

I wish to address this matter with the seriousness and humility it deserves.

First and foremost, I recognize and fully respect the constitutional right of every Cameroonian citizen to vote according to their conscience, free from coercion or intimidation. Any words I may have expressed that appeared to suggest otherwise were unfortunate and do not reflect the spirit of unity, dignity, and democratic values that I have always sought to uphold.

My intention was never to threaten or divide, but to encourage civic participation. However, I understand that the phrasing and tone of my remarks were inappropriate, and for that, I offer my sincere apologies.

I take this opportunity to reaffirm my commitment to respecting the free will of all voters.

Sincerely,

Senator Nfon Mukete IV Ekoko

BINKA, DONGA MANTUNG
In a twist that would make any political strategist squirm, a crowd of residents in Binka waved yellow ballots and cheered for Issa Tchiroma Bakary, the former Minister. “We are tired of bread and sardines,” they proclaimed, referring to the classic voter handouts historically favored by the ruling CPDM party.

Yes, bread and sardines, the combo that has fueled more campaigns than campaign slogans themselves. But apparently, this time, voters are saying no to pantry politics and yes to something a bit more… substantial. Yellow ballots in hand, they seemed ready to trade their tin fish for a candidate they hope comes with actual plans, not just canned goods.

The scene was part celebration, part protest, and all a reminder that in Cameroon’s 2025 elections, voters are not just hungry, they’re picky.

TCHIROMA SPONSORING AMBA

Yaoundé’s Own Law Confirms It: Ambazonia Is a Foreign Power, Not a Breakaway Region

Barrister Emmanuel Nsahlai, who filed the petition against Tchiroma, relies on Article 118 of the Cameroonian Electoral Code, which states that anyone who has placed themselves in a situation of dependence or collusion with a person, organisation, or foreign power is ineligible to contest the elections.

In trying to disqualify Issa Tchiroma from the presidential race, La République du Cameroun has legally acknowledged Ambazonia’s separate status through its own Electoral Code.

A significant political development has unfolded in Yaoundé with far-reaching implications for the ongoing conflict between La République du Cameroun and Southern Cameroons. In a legal memorandum filed to disqualify presidential candidate Issa Tchiroma, the Cameroonian legal establishment has referred to Ambazonia as a foreign power.

This reference is not incidental. It forms the central basis of the argument advanced by Barrister Emmanuel Nsahlai, who filed the petition against Tchiroma. He relies on Article 118 of the Cameroonian Electoral Code, which states that anyone who has placed themselves in a situation of dependence or collusion with a person, organisation, or foreign power is ineligible to contest the presidency.

The memorandum focuses on statements made by Issa Tchiroma during a rally in Bamenda on 4 October 2025. Tchiroma publicly admitted that he was in regular contact with Ambazonian leaders, described Chris Anu as his “best friend,” and acknowledged that he relied on Ambazonian protection while on Ambazonian soil. The petition argues that these admissions amount to collusion with a foreign power, rendering him ineligible to run.

Cameroun’s Law , Ambazonian Proof

For decades, the government in Yaoundé has characterised Ambazonians as secessionists. However, in this legal filing, the state itself uses the term “foreign power” to describe Ambazonia. This language undermines the narrative of secession. One cannot secede from a country one was never part of.

This legal development reinforces what Southern Cameroonians have maintained since 1961: that they are a distinct people and territory under illegal occupation, not a region breaking away from Cameroon. By invoking Article 118, Yaoundé has provided legal proof of Ambazonia’s separate status through its own law.

This is the Legal Trap

The implications extend beyond Issa Tchiroma. Other presidential aspirants, including Cabral Libii, Joshua Osih, Akere Muna, and Iyodi Samuel Hiram, have also campaigned on Ambazonian areas or territory as Nsaila calls it foreign powers. By the same legal reasoning, their actions could be classified as collusion with a foreign power, potentially disqualifying them from the presidential race.

In seeking to eliminate one candidate, the regime may have inadvertently ensnared many others, exposing a significant contradiction in its political and legal positions.

A Turning Point in the Narrative

For Southern Cameroonians, this moment represents a critical turning point. It provides a clear legal acknowledgment, from within Yaoundé itself, that Ambazonia is not part of La République du Cameroun. For those who have doubted this position or accepted the Francophone narrative of secession, the memorandum offers undeniable clarity.

For the international community, this legal wording stands as an unambiguous statement from Cameroon’s own legal system. The regime cannot simultaneously claim Ambazonia as part of its “one and indivisible nation” while labelling it foreign in its legal proceedings. The contradiction is now a matter of public record.

The Road Ahead

This development must not pass quietly. Cameroonians at home and abroad have a responsibility to communicate this fact clearly: Yaoundé has recognised Ambazonia as foreign in its own law. This is not propaganda, but legal reality. If they go on with the indictment of Issa Tchiroma.

The memorandum against Issa Tchiroma may have been intended to remove a political rival, but it has instead revealed the core truth that undercuts decades of official propaganda. Ambazonia is not a breakaway region. It is a foreign power under occupation, and Yaoundé’s own legal framework has confirmed it.

Issa Tchiroma keeps pulling crowd across Cameroon, with the turn of the Far North Region today Wednesday 8th 2025. He will be in Maroua town this Friday 10th October 2025.

Security efforts to bar him from holding his rally in Mokolo in the Far North region failed as the crowd used force to overpower gendarmerie officers acting on instructions from above.
