The Cameroon American Football Federation joins festivities marking the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace with workshops , games and lots of Animation at the newly build Olembe Sports Complex in Yaounde.
Key Womens and Men's workshop animated by Coach Enjuh Enabel and the technical bench of the Cameroon American Football Federation.
Many authorities and government officials joined the festivities amidst other national sports and civil association which Mr. Awasum Junior, President of the Cameroon American Football Federation express gratitude especially to the Minister of Sports and Physical Education for the extended invitation to the award ceremony on Wednesday April 9TH.
Before the sports for peace day, the Cameroon American Football Federation participated in the United States Embassy All Star Day which brought together other sports disciplines such as Baseball and Basketball.

The Cameroonian Federation of American Football celebrates the International Day of Sport for Join us next month from the 26TH - 27 of May at the Yaounde Omnisport stadium in Yaoundé from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a day of information, sensitization and the Men's flag football championship.

Yaoundé, le 23 octobre 2023 - Les entraîneurs Oscar De Luna (Espagne) et Melvin BRIGGS (Etats-Unis) ont animé conjointement en tant qu'instructeurs, le stage d'entraînement et d'arbitrage de la Fédération camerounaise de football américain qui s'est achevé dimanche dernier à Yaoundé. Les deux entraîneurs continueront à suivre les participants qui partent maintenant dans les régions pour un travail de terrain de 6 mois avant d'obtenir leur diplôme en 2024. Le président de la Fédération camerounaise de football américain, M. Awasum Junior, a remercié tous les participants et collaborateurs, en particulier les administrateurs de l'Office national des installations sportives et des équipements pour avoir accueilli la Fédération et les participants de plus de 6 régions du Cameroun au stade Omnisport de Yaoundé pendant plus de 4 jours. Le Président Awasum a également remercié la CRTV pour la couverture médiatique et tous les sympathisants pour leur soutien qui est hautement nécessaire pour la croissance et le développement des sports de football américain au Cameroun.
En outre, il convient de mentionner que l'événement a pour objectifs le renforcement des capacités tout en se concentrant sur la vulgarisation et le développement du sport de football américain au Cameroun, a déclaré M. Awasum Junior - Président de la Fédération camerounaise de football américain.
