Results of three reforestation projects UFA-REFOREST, RESSAC and GAAC implemented in since 2022 have been presented at a conference in themed "Regenerating the Cameroonian Forest : Technical and Scientific Assessment of the UFA-REFOREST and Surf Project and Presentation of the Book : Guide to the Trees of Central Africa." About 70 participants from the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife, the French, Italian and Belgian embassies, the Central Africa Forest Commission (COMIFAC), National Forestry Development Support Agency (ANAFOR), the German Agency for International Corporation (GIZ) and other technical and financial partners took part in the event which marks the official closure of the EU funded projects in Cameroon.The event marking the end of the EU funded projects was presided over by Secretary General of the Ministry of Forestry and Wild Life, Joseph Nyongwen.
