I participated on Monday 9th, February, 2026, the launch workshop of the Cameroon Basic Education Support Programme, which brought together the Ministers of Basic Education, Public Contracts and some key public sector actors, and development partners including the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), BADEA, UNICEF, and the World Food Programme Hôtel Yde.

Beyond the formal launch, I engaged with IsDB representatives on the importance of robust, decision-oriented Monitoring & Evaluation systems—not only for accountability, but to support adaptive management and demonstrate impact in post-crisis contexts. These exchanges align closely with my current work on finalising the M&E system for the PPRD North-West and South-West Regions, financed by IsDB.

As investments in education recovery scale up, credible M&E frameworks remain critical for sustaining donor confidence and translating resources into measurable learning outcomes.
