Under expanded processing and sorting conditions, the project's overall Car2Car rate increased from 6% to 51%, while the rate for aluminium rose from 23% to 52%.

Importantly, these figures represent technical potential under research conditions rather than current industry recycling rates. The results highlight how improved pre-sorting, optimised shredding, sensor-based sorting and more precise separation of hashtag can help preserve material quality for higher-value reuse.

A heartfelt thank you to all exhibitors and visitors from around the world for your continued support and trust. Together, we witnessed another important milestone in the development of the aluminium industry.

Over the three-day exhibition, ALUMINIUM CHINA 2026 welcomed 36,134 professional visitors, including 4,011 international visitors, setting a new all-time attendance record. During the show, 864 domestic business matchmaking sessions and 200+ international matchmaking sessions were successfully facilitated, creating valuable opportunities for industry exchange and global business cooperation.
