Why Your System Needs Tubular Membrane for Silica Removal
In industrial water treatment, Silica acts like "invisible glue." If left untreated, it forms rock-hard scales on membranes or boilers that are nearly impossible to clean, leading to costly equipment replacement.
๐ก how to remove:
1. We add specific agents (Magnesium-based) to the water to turn "dissolved" silica into tiny solid particles.
2. The water then flows through Tubular Membranes. Acting like a high-speed precision sieve, the membrane captures 100% of the particles while letting pure water pass through.
๐ก Advantages of tubular membrane to this application:
1. Wide Channel, the inner diameter of the tubular membrane tube is usually between 5mm-12mm, so it's not easy to block
2. High Mechanical Strength, the membrane tube usually has a strong support layer, so the mechanical strength is extremely high.
3. Due to the high flow velocity on the membrane surface being maintained at all times, the inner surface of the membrane tube is not easily contaminated, thereby ensuring a high throughput and a long service life.
4. Reduced Pre-treatment, It can directly treat wastewater with high turbidity and high hardness, save the filtration steps before the huge sedimentation tank, multi-media filter and ultrafiltration
