Another geophysical field mission is underway!

Our technical team is currently conducting a 3D MIMO Transient Electromagnetic (MIMO-TEM) survey at a large reservoir in Hunan Province, China.

By utilizing 's advanced multi-transmitter and multi-receiver technology, the project aims to acquire high-density electromagnetic data for detailed 3D imaging of the dam body and its foundation. The survey results will provide valuable geophysical information to support geological interpretation and engineering assessment.

As infrastructure safety and subsurface investigations continue to gain importance, advanced electromagnetic technologies are playing an increasingly important role in delivering accurate, efficient, and reliable underground imaging. GSAI Geophysics remains committed to providing innovative geophysical solutions for engineering, environmental, and resource exploration projects worldwide.

Massive crystalline graphite ore and surrounding rocks — truly a feast for the eyes!

These photos were taken during our recent graphite exploration project in Heilongjiang, China. Large quantities of crystalline graphite mineralization were exposed on site, showing strong geological potential.

Our technical team also collected rock samples for further laboratory testing and petrophysical analysis to better understand the electrical properties and mineralization characteristics of the graphite-bearing formations.

Graphite exploration is becoming increasingly important with the rapid growth of battery materials and critical mineral demand worldwide. Advanced geophysical methods combined with petrophysical studies can significantly improve exploration efficiency and target definition.

GSAI Geophysics is now validating a high-conductivity, high-chargeability anomaly zone identified by our Spread Spectrum Induced Polarization (SSIP) method in Alxa, Inner Mongolia, China.

The measured signal directly above the anomaly was less than 0.5 μV — below one-thousandth of the minimum observable signal amplitude required by conventional industry standards.

Our R&D team immediately launched a focused technical campaign to overcome the challenges of ultra-weak signal detection and electromagnetic coupling suppression. Through these efforts, we successfully delineated a continuous high-conductivity, high-chargeability anomaly zone crossing multiple survey lines.
