An ISO certificate looks reassuring—but it doesn’t automatically mean the product you’re buying is qualified.
ISO mainly confirms that a company has established a management system. It does not prove that:
❌ The certificate covers your specific product
❌ The actual factory is included in the certification scope
❌ Every shipment meets your required specifications
❌ The product has passed the necessary testing
Before placing an order, check the company name, factory address, certification scope and validity.
For the product itself, always verify the specification, COA and test results—and arrange sample testing or pre-shipment inspection when necessary.
An ISO certificate is useful, but it is only the beginning of supplier verification—not the final answer.
Don’t just ask: “Do you have ISO?”
Ask: “What exactly does this certificate cover?”
