DTF VS Sublimation Printing — which method is best for custom T-shirts? In this side-by-side comparison we print two different designs with two different technologies, and finish them both on the exact same heat press.

First up: DTF (Direct-to-Film). Pigment ink + a crucial white ink base
+ hot-melt powder, heat-pressed onto a BLACK cotton T-shirt. Result: bold, opaque, sharp colors with a slight texture — perfect for cotton and dark fabrics.

Then the challenger: SUBLIMATION. A photo-realistic portrait pressed onto a WHITE polyester T-shirt at around 200°C. The ink turns into gas and dyes the fiber from the inside out — totally breathable, zero hand feel, with smooth photo gradients.
