Your die-cast part looks fine.
Then you machine the mating face and PIM fails.

That's exactly what happened to an RF cavity we worked on.
Connector holes had shrinkage porosity — die-cast features you can't rework.
Mating face needed Ra 0.116 — or PIM would never pass.

We fixed both:
→ Porosity eliminated at the casting stage
→ CNC toolpath optimized → Ra 0.116 verified by profilometer
→ PIM passed on first trial
