🌟 Connecting Beyond Borders | Kanglin Biotec at “Stars in the Sky – China” 🌟

At Kanglin Biotec, we believe meaningful connections can cross borders — just as innovation can bring new hope and possibilities to patients around the world.

We were delighted to attend “Stars in the Sky – China,” an inspiring exhibition by renowned Egyptian artist Amr Fahmy at the Egyptian Cultural Office in Beijing. 🎨

The exhibition celebrates inspiring figures and the connections between people and cultures. For Kanglin Biotec, it was also a meaningful opportunity to strengthen our friendship and connection with Egypt.

As a company focused on advancing gene therapy, we hope to continue building bridges with patients, healthcare professionals, and partners across the region. 🌍

🚀 Pioneering Accessible Genetic Therapies Across the Asia-Pacific

Kanglin Bio was proud to participate in the Gene Therapy Symposium 2026, organized by the Gene Therapy Society of Singapore (GTSS) on 25th July 2026 at the National University of Singapore (NUS)!

The symposium brought together regional leaders across therapeutic R&D, clinical trial ex*****on, ethics, and scalable manufacturing—a reminder of how rapidly the cell and gene therapy ecosystem is evolving in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

During the symposium, Kanglin Bio was proud to present our Kanexthal™ Global Access Program and engage in high-impact discussions with fellow participants about making advanced therapeutics more accessible. Centered on our regionally approved gene therapy Kanexthal™ (KL003) for transfusion-dependent β-thalassemia, our program focuses on creating structured pathways to help eligible international patients access single-dose curative treatments.

Engaging with regional stakeholders reinforces our commitment to expanding patient access, fostering clinical collaborations, and bridging the gap between groundbreaking innovations and real-world accessibility.

Thank you to the GTSS committee and all participants for an enriching dialogue! 🧬✨

A milestone in gene therapy manufacturing—and a step forward for patients worldwide. 🧬

On June 30, 2026, Kanglin Biotec officially launched its Gene Therapy Manufacturing Base at Hangzhou Biopharma Town.
This facility represents a transition from clinical-stage development to commercial-scale, GMP-compliant manufacturing.

With this launch, Kanglin Biotec now establishes in-house manufacturing capabilities across the core production chain for cell and gene therapies, including:
🌟Plasmids
🌟Lentiviral vectors
🌟Adeno-associated virus (AAV) vectors
🌟Cell injection formulations

These capabilities are centralized in a single facility, designed and operated in accordance with international GMP standards.

For international patients and their families, this development has practical implications: it supports more predictable supply chains, reduced manufacturing-related delays, and production processes built for regulatory alignment—all essential factors in bringing gene therapies to those in need.

Our commitment remains focused on advancing cell and gene therapy platforms, not only for the Chinese market, but for global patient communities where unmet medical needs persist.

We will continue to share updates on clinical development, regulatory progress, and our efforts to increase access to transformative therapies.

Because every patient deserves a future built on science, quality, and care. 💙

🌍 Global Collaboration in Action

Last week, we had the honor of hosting a joint delegation of academic institutions from south America and MENA regions for an in-depth visit across our operations in China.

Their journey took them from North Africa and South America to our GMP facility and HQ in Hangzhou, and then to West China Lecheng Hospital in Boao, Hainan—all to see firsthand how Kanexthal™ (KL003) is advancing from research to real-world impact.

In Hainan, we were proud to showcase West China Lecheng Hospital, now officially designated as a Centre of Excellence for Kanexthal™ administration under China's pioneering medical tourism policy. This is more than a milestone for China—it's a replicable model we hope can benefit patients worldwide.

Our conversations went deep:
🔬 Scientific progress and clinical data
🏭 Manufacturing scale-up and quality assurance
💡 Practical strategies to address the heavy burden of Transfusion-Dependent Thalassemia (TDT) in south America, MENA, and beyond.

We believe that collaboration is the bridge between science and accessible care. This visit was a powerful reminder that when experts from different continents come together with a shared mission, patients win.

Looking forward to the next steps in this global journey. 🚀
