How to change filters for Sinotruk engine?

Start the Howo Vehicle: First, start the vehicle and run it for about 1 minute to allow the engine to be fully filled with oil, then turn off the 371 engine. This is done to ensure that the oil can circulate fully to all parts of the howo engine.

Prepare tools: Prepare the required tools, including oil filler cap opening tools, wrenches, cotton cloths, etc.

Drain the old oil: Use a 15mm wrench to slightly loosen the oil retaining screw in a counterclockwise direction to allow the old oil to flow out.
Be careful not to get burned by hot oil. It is recommended to perform this step after the vehicle has cooled down.

Remove the old howo filter element: After the oil flow is reduced, use a filter wrench to remove the old oil filter.
Be careful to avoid contact with the hot exhaust manifold during operation to avoid burns.

Install the new filter element: Wipe the position of the filter element on the engine with a rag, and then install the new filter element.
Apply a layer of oil (new or old oil) to the gasket of the new filter element as a sealant. Carefully put the new filter into position, and turn it clockwise to secure it.
Fill with new oil: Find the cap marked "Oil" on the engine, open it and add an appropriate amount of new oil, until the mark line on the oil dipstick is reached.
Start the engine: Restart the engine and run it for 1-2 minutes, and then check the dipstick again to make sure the oil level is in the proper position. At the same time, check if there is any oil leakage at the bottom of the engine.
