Habio Enzyme Hosts Successful Technical Seminar in Dhaka on Value Creation through Precision Nutrition
DHAKA, BANGLADESH – August 14, 2025 – Habio Enzyme successfully held a technical seminar titled “Do More with Less: From Cost Control to Value Creation” in Dhaka, Bangladesh, today. The event fostered dialogue between local feed millers, livestock producers, and industry experts on leveraging enzyme technologies and precision nutrition strategies to achieve both cost reduction and enhanced value.
The seminar centered on the critical shift from traditional cost control towards proactive nutritional value creation. Mr. Wang Liguo, Head of Overseas Marketing at Habio Enzyme, opened the proceedings by outlining the company's vision. "Habio Enzyme is steadfastly committed to the principles of 'Efficiency, Precision, and Differentiation,'" he stated. "We are dedicated to innovation and to building a brand synonymous with nutritious, safe, healthy, and high-quality enzyme solutions."
The challenges associated with raw material variability were addressed by internationally renowned animal nutritionist Professor Casey. She emphasized that the utilization of key nutrients in ingredients like corn and soybean meal is highly variable, influenced by factors such as geographic origin, harvest year, and processing conditions. "Formulating based solely on database averages is insufficient for precision," Professor Casey explained. She presented strategies employing tailored combinations of phytase, protease, and non-starch polysaccharide (NSP) enzymes to degrade anti-nutritional factors, break down cell walls, and liberate trapped nutrients. This approach, she noted, enhances feed efficiency, stabilizes animal performance, and reduces overall formula costs.
Shifting focus to poultry nutrition, Professor Zeng Qiufeng from Sichuan Agricultural University detailed strategies for optimizing nutrient utilization in broilers. She highlighted the mismatch between the growth potential of modern birds and the development of their digestive systems, often leading to insufficient digestion and intestinal health issues. To address specific bottlenecks in the utilization of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates, Professor Zeng proposed customized enzyme blends, including lipase, protease, and NSP enzymes. These solutions are designed to compensate for endogenous enzyme deficiencies, optimize nutrient absorption, improve gut health, reduce feed conversion ratios (FCR), and lower environmental emissions—delivering both economic and environmental benefits.
The seminar provided attendees with new insights and technical pathways to address ingredient volatility and pursue sustainable development. One participant commented, "The presentations from both professors were highly insightful and practical. They made us realize that we shouldn't focus solely on the purchase price of raw materials but, more importantly, on their 'utilizable' nutritional value. Habio's enzyme solutions are instrumental in moving from cost control to value creation."
Habio Enzyme remains committed to collaborating with global partners to advance the livestock industry toward greater efficiency, profitability, and sustainability.
