Stop Handling Low-E Glass Like It’s Standard Float Glass! 🛑💎
Low-E glass doesn’t just need careful handling. It needs a completely different Logic. 🧠
Most factory losses don't come from the glass breaking—they come from the invisible damage to the coating. If your team treats Low-E like regular glass, you are throwing money away. 📉💸
Here are the 3 Golden Rules of Low-E Handling:
🧤 1. Cleanliness > Force
It’s not about how hard you grip; it’s about how clean you are. Coated surfaces are sensitive. Use clean, dry gloves and—most importantly—silicone-free vacuum cups. The wrong material can leave permanent traces on the coating.
🌦️ 2. Storage is Quality Control
Low-E is "alive." High humidity, truck exhaust, or chemical fumes can corrode the coating before the glass even leaves your shop. Keep it indoors, dry, and away from the loading dock!
🛡️ 3. No Sliding, Only Lifting
Never allow panes to rub against each other. Use proper separators (cork pads or foam) and ensure every movement is vertical and controlled.
At TOYOCC, we don't just lift glass; we protect its performance. Our lifting systems are designed specifically for sensitive coatings, ensuring zero-mark, high-precision movement. 🦾✨
