2017 will be the year of the smart home because the companies behind the technology will be smarter about educating their consumers. So far today, the consumers haven't fully realized the benefit they will get from smart home. It could be a savings, not just simplicity and making your life easier and being able to use your phone to do everything. Take EVOL (our smart charging dock) for example, with which you could re-use your old phone to be a smart home hub. You can speak to control your appliances including which don't contain smart home tech.

This will be the year of the smart home because the companies behind the technology will be smarter about educating their consumers.
