If the process isn't tightly controlled, it's easy to end up with scrap; this is a sample sent by a European client.
It is a camera component—specifically, a DSLR lens ring. Manufacturing this part involves several steps: CNC turning, CNC machining for holes and threads, and finally, a surface sandblasting and black anodizing process. Technically, it is a challenging product to make. It demands a high-quality finish—specifically, a uniform matte sandblasted texture (180-grit equivalent) with black anodizing—and must be completely free of dents or scratches. While poor control could easily lead to high scrap rates, we are confident we can handle it successfully. We manage everything in-house, from machining to surface treatment, giving us full control over the entire production process. Summer is really hot, and it's hard to stay calm.

But walking into the workshop and seeing these die-cast products, one by one, emerging from the molds, undergoing polishing and electroplating, slowly transforming into the desired finished products—what a proud thing that is!

I went back to my office and worked hard.
