Stainless steel plate pickling passivation process
Stainless steel pickling passivation is generally used pickling passivation paste and pickling passivation solution for processing.Pickling the passivation solution is carried out by pickling and passivating simultaneously,it changed the traditional pickling and passivation process with simple operation, easy construction and low cost.it’s suitable for large area brushing operation and soaking operation of small workpieces.
So then, what is the process of stainless steel passivation?The details are as follows:
1.Oil removal, if without any pollution on the surface, omit this step.
2.Activation, soaking time of 2-5 minutes, if without any corrosion,welding spot and other impurities on the surface of workpiece, you can omit this step.
3.Passivation, soaking time of 30 minutes, The longer the soaking time, the more complete the passivation film.
4.Neutralization, soaking time of 3 minutes, if the surface shape is simple, no gongs, no blind hole, you can omit this step.
5.Cleaning by pure water, it’s a necessary step, time is 3 minutes.
