So happy to see our long-time CJ partners again at CJEC Belgrade. 🇷🇸 From Budapest to Antwerp, and now Belgrade, seeing familiar faces at our events always means a lot to me. 🤝

These ten gentlemen are based in Smederevo, including a pair of brothers. All of them work in e-commerce, each building a business in his own direction. We’ve worked together for many years, and I have a lot of respect for what they’ve achieved.

What I admire most is the friendship between them. Living in the same city, they can meet often, exchange ideas, help each other work through challenges, and enjoy life together. Everyone brings different experience to the table, so there is always something to learn.

You can feel how comfortable they are around one another. Ambitious about business, relaxed among friends. It’s a great circle to be part of. 🍻

Our conversations in Belgrade were open and honest. Hearing their perspectives gave me fresh ideas and a stronger sense of the potential in this market. After so many years in this industry, I still learn something every time I sit down with our clients. 💡

Their friendship also reminded me how much the people around us matter when we’re building a business. Find people you can learn from. Share what you know. Encourage each other when things get difficult, and celebrate each other’s progress.

This is something I hope we can keep creating through CJEC: relationships that continue long after an event ends, with people who help one another move forward. 🌱

While CJEC Belgrade was packed with sharp ecommerce insights, there were also many warm little moments beyond the session content that made this experience very unforgettable for me. ✨

We invited our clients on stage to share their real business success stories, including a sweet couple who also joined our Budapest event. It was such a joy to have them here this time. The experience he shared on stage was incredibly valuable and inspiring to everyone in the room, including myself. 🗣

After the session, they gifted us lovely local Serbian tea — some for relaxation and better sleep — alongside a bottle of regional w**e and famous Serbian brandy Rakia. These sincere gestures made the day extra memorable. 🎁

What struck me during this event is that the Balkans hold far greater e-commerce potential and opportunities than I had anticipated. As an old Chinese saying goes, each land nurtures its own people. Different soils give rise to distinct markets, and this region has a totally different ecommerce market structure. I believe diversity brings collisions of thoughts, which in turn foster brand-new ideas. CJ will continue to devote more time and effort to this wonderful land. 📈

Throughout the event, we enjoyed vibrant networking and thoughtful idea exchanges. Listening to all participants brought us fresh perspectives and plenty of new inspiration. 💬

Serbia is such a beautiful place. The people and moments here will stay with me for a lifetime. 🇷🇸

CJEC Belgrade has come to a close, and I’m grateful to everyone who spent this day with us. Thank you, Belgrade! ❤

After Antwerp, our journey brought us here for a packed gathering, with over 100 attendees joining us. Participants came from Belgrade and neighbouring cities, and even travelled all the way from North Macedonia. Attendees represented diverse fields, not limited to ecommerce. Every city adds something different to CJEC. What connects us is the willingness to share, learn, and keep moving forward. 🤝
One of the biggest and most pleasant surprises of the event was that we invited our client guest speakers to take the stage. They shared incredibly actionable insights and brought so much high-value, down-to-earth knowledge to the room. We are so thankful they stepped up to share, and we quickly built great connections. ✨
I believe networking and free-flow conversations matter even more than formal presentations and slide decks. The core purpose of CJEC is to bring dropshipping entrepreneurs together, so they can meet one another, exchange real-world experience, support each other’s growth, forge new connections and spark fresh ideas. 📈

To everyone who joined us in Belgrade: thank you for your time, your questions, and your willingness to share. To our speakers and partners, thank you for bringing your experience. Also ， I want to say that our CJ team really did an amazing job. From small details like custom event materials to full on-site coordination, the whole team poured tremendous effort into making this event happen. Great meeting Miloš Vasić (Miloš Vasić) at CJEC Belgrade yesterday!

Miloš has been active in e-commerce and dropshipping in Serbia for years, with experience in online selling, Shopify, brand building, and supporting the local e-commerce community.

Yesterday’s CJEC turned out even better than we expected. More people showed up than we anticipated, and the energy in the room was amazing.

What impressed me most was how active the e-commerce community is across the Balkans. At the same time, the e-commerce ecosystem and market structure here are quite different from what we usually see in Western Europe and the U.S. — and that difference creates a lot of opportunities.

After speaking with Miloš and many other local entrepreneurs, I realized there is much more potential in this region than I expected.

CJ will definitely spend more time in the Balkans, and we’ll be coming back more often. 🇷🇸🚀

We also captured a lot of great photos and videos yesterday, and I’ll keep sharing more moments from CJEC Belgrade over the next few days.

We’ve been working with Stephan and Marc for over a year. Marc was born in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 with Egyptian roots 🇪🇬 and worked as a lawyer before moving into dropshipping. Now they’re building a DTC brand, continuing to adapt and improve as the business grows. 🤝

Our team took the ferry ⛴ to Cannibale Royale du Nord for dinner. They told us it’s their first choice whenever they want a good steak, especially the ribeye. 🥩 Always good to discover a city through the people who know it best!

We also took a photo outside Amsterdam Centraal, with a tram passing behind us 🚋, and shared drinks at Leo’s Big Shots on Warmoesstraat. Good food, good company, and time to talk beyond everyday business. 🍻

Some of their products are already fulfilled through our US warehouses. 📦 Building a brand means paying attention to what happens after each order, too. Delivery speed and cost both matter. I recently visited our second New Jersey warehouse and was pleased with the speed and competitive pricing. Our warehouse network covers the whole of the US,which gives us more ways to support their next stage of growth. 🇺🇸

What I admire is their ability to adapt. Marc changed careers, and they’ve continued developing the business from dropshipping into a DTC brand. Every stage brings something new to learn and improve. 🌱

I feel the same responsibility at CJ. As our clients grow, we need to keep improving alongside them. Their trust is something we have to earn through our work every day.

We also talked about Egypt’s development, the changes happening there, and the opportunities they could bring. I’d love to visit someday, explore business possibilities, and take time to experience the country. 🇪🇬 ✈

These conversations always give me fresh energy. You can bring your experience into a new chapter and still be willing to learn from the beginning. Keep adapting and keep improving. 💪

Last night, our CJ team visited Leo at his bar, Big Shots, in Amsterdam. A few drinks together, and a chance to hear more about his story. 🍻

Originally from Egypt, Leo took over his father’s bar and restaurant businesses in one of Amsterdam’s best-known areas. He already had a strong foundation, but he still wanted to see what he could build for himself. So he stepped into dropshipping.

His father was against the idea at first. What he didn’t expect was how quickly Leo would achieve such good results. That initial doubt turned into a proud thumbs-up. 👍

What stayed with me most was the picture of Leo opening his Mac in his own bar, thinking through his e-commerce business while also managing the family’s hospitality businesses.

I really admire that energy and discipline. Hospitality and e-commerce are two very different worlds, yet he is finding his balance and making progress in both.

It connects with something I’ve believed for a long time: strategy takes balance, experimentation, and constant adjustment. Focus matters, but don’t let it become an excuse to keep doing only what feels easy or familiar. You may be capable of handling more than you think.

The challenge is to find the right balance, know where your attention matters most, and act decisively. Stay hungry like a lion—with a clear target and the discipline to follow through. 🦁

Seeing young entrepreneurs push beyond what they already have always gives me energy. Having a good starting point is fortunate. Choosing to keep challenging yourself is something I respect.

Standing by Het IJ and looking out over this wide water, it feels like the perfect place for us in cross-border e-commerce to pause and reflect. Centuries ago, countless merchant vessels set sail from here, crossing oceans to discover new markets. What we do in online cross-border business today carries the same core — connecting people and goods across borders. Standing here, I can really feel that shared spirit🌊

We’ve met many clients these days. During our face-to-face discussions, our team keeps listening and absorbing. These young team members are eager to learn and full of energy. They pick up new ideas quickly. Every conversation with clients is more than business talks; it’s a two-way exchange that helps them gain new perspectives and build experience💡

This is my fourth time visiting Amsterdam. I know the city well. Many clients have turned into friends, which makes it feel so familiar. It has lovely scenery and a welcoming, laid-back vibe🌷🇳🇱🏙

Some people you only know from a screen until you finally shake hands. 🤝

This is Milo Nicolas. We had been in touch for a while, but never in the same room. On Saturday he came to CJEC Antwerp with his business partner, and in a room of almost 200 sellers we finally met in person.

Here is what makes Milo interesting. He buys brands. While most people in this industry are busy launching their next store, Milo sits on the other side of the table, looking for stores that are ready for a new owner.

If you have built an e-commerce brand and are thinking about selling it, reach out to him. A good exit is also a form of success, and it is a story we do not tell often enough in dropshipping.

For me, this is exactly why we started CJEC. Not only for the talks on stage, but for the handshakes in the hallway that turn into real partnerships. Milo and I already agreed to talk again, and I am looking forward to building something together. 🚀

This Mid-Autumn Festival feels extra special for me, as I’m spending it far from home with my team.🌕

After the successful wrap-up of CJEC Antwerp, we headed to Grote Markt, the main square in the heart of Antwerp’s old town, and visited Antwerp City Hall. It was stunning and magnificent.✨

Later, we dined together at a cozy local restaurant, sharing good food while thinking of the full moon back in China.🍽
There is a beloved Chinese phrase for this festival: “Flowers in full bloom, the moon at its fullest”.💫
Mid-Autumn Festival is a cherished occasion for reunion.🤝

When the round full moon rises, families gather, admire the moonlight and share mooncakes. The round moon symbolizes togetherness and wholeness.
While I’m not with my biological family this year, my team feels just like family to me. We stand side by side through work challenges and support each other in life. This seamless conclusion of the Antwerp event would not have been possible without every member of the team.🙌

Everyone prepared well in advance — from tiny details like postcards and lanyard badges, all the way up to KT boards and end-to-end guest reception management.📋I’ve always believed that corporate culture shapes where a team can go.And I believe this is what CJ is built upon.❤

CJEC Antwerp has come to a perfect close, and I’m filled with excitement and joy. I’m honestly not ready for it to end.

The venue was fully packed — we had almost 200 attendees, far more than I anticipated. Your enthusiasm absolutely blew me away. 🔥

We witnessed incredible idea-sharing and built amazing networks. There was so much valuable industry exchange and thoughtful discussion, and we learned so much from one another. 🤝

Our new Table Talk format successfully brought everyone closer, creating more space for conversations and questions. 💬

I gained so much inspiration from all of you. We exchanged experiences and challenged each other’s thinking, and most importantly, we explored where e-commerce is heading. 💡

What we experienced today surpassed everything I imagined. It was so encouraging to hear founders, sellers, partners and friends openly talk about their entrepreneurial paths. It brought me back to the core reason we launched CJEC. Our vision stays the same: to gather driven entrepreneurs and support them to scale quickly. 🚀

This Antwerp session has been absolutely amazing, and I know this is not the end. I felt so much resonance with every one of you.

We are already planning our next stop: Belgrade, October 3rd. 🇷🇸
