Choosing the right valve isn't just about size—it's about matching the valve to your process conditions, media, operating pressure, and functional requirements. The right selection can improve efficiency, extend service life, and reduce maintenance costs.

🔹 1. Match the Valve to the Process Media

Liquid Media (Water, Oil, etc.)
✔ Ball valves and globe valves are ideal for reliable sealing and low flow resistance.
✔ For high-viscosity liquids such as syrups or slurries, butterfly valves or knife gate valves help minimize clogging.

Gas Media (Air, Natural Gas, etc.)
✔ Ball valves and gate valves provide fast operation with excellent sealing performance.
✔ For flammable or explosive gases, explosion-resistant valves made from corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel are recommended.

Corrosive Media (Acids, Alkalis, Chemicals)
✔ Choose corrosion-resistant materials such as PTFE-lined valves or titanium alloy valves.
✔ Diaphragm valves and lined ball valves help isolate aggressive media from the valve body.

Media Containing Particles
