This creamy, comforting pasta is loaded with tender shrimp, silky linguine, and crisp-tender broccoli all coated in a rich Alfredo sauce. It’s fresh, garlicky, and perfectly indulgent—an easy dinner that feels restaurant-worthy. 💛🥦🧀
📝 Ingredients:
12 oz linguine
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cups broccoli florets (steamed or blanched)
Salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
¾ cup whole milk
1¼ cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
½ tsp garlic powder
Optional: red pepper flakes, fresh parsley, lemon wedges
🔥 Instructions:
Cook the linguine: Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Cook the shrimp: Season shrimp with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook in olive oil for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
Prepare the broccoli: Steam or blanch broccoli until tender-crisp, then set aside.
Make the Alfredo sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and milk, letting it simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.
Add the cheese: Stir in parmesan and garlic powder until melted into a smooth, creamy sauce. Season to taste.
Bring it all together: Add linguine and a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce. Toss to coat evenly. Add broccoli and return shrimp to the skillet, mixing gently.
Garnish and serve: Finish with fresh parsley, extra parmesan, red pepper flakes, and a squeeze of lemon for brightness. Serve warm and enjoy every creamy bite.
💬 Why It Works:
The rich Alfredo sauce hugs every strand of linguine while the shrimp adds a sweet, savory depth and the broccoli brings a fresh, vibrant balance. It’s creamy, satisfying, and full of flavor—perfect for a cozy yet elevated meal. 😌🧄🧀🍤🥦🍝
