We’d like to take a moment to introduce the hardworking group of bright and proactive ladies who form The Costa Rica Fashion Summit team. Contributing their talents and skills pro bono, these ladies have taken it upon themselves to do their bit to ensure a sustainable future.

A specialist in Marketing and Communication, Georgina González is a MBA graduate from INCAE Business School and is one of the youngest women to have received the recognition of summa cm laude at this prestigious institution. With more than 10 years of industry experience, Georgina focuses on brand strategy and event planning through her consultancy firm REBRAND. She is a passionate advocate of women's empowerment – a cause that she supports through being part of various boards of directors. Her knowledge and passion for the creative arts, health and sustainability have helped her lead numerous initiatives for the development of Costa Rica. She is the executive producer of the 2017 Costa Rica Fashion Summit.
"I support and participate in this initiative because I believe in Costa Rica: in its resources, in its people and in its great potential”, Georgina explains. “It’s by uniting efforts, even with small actions, that we will become the country that we all want. I believe in Costa Rica as the world-leader in sustainability solutions and the Costa Rica Fashion Summit is, to me, marking a before and after in an industry not understood by many, but of which we are all part. I believe in supporting entrepreneurs, suppliers and small businesses, and in creating local initiatives that are nurtured by real knowledge – because all good change starts with us".

Especialista en Mercadeo y Comunicación, Georgina González cuenta con un MBA summa cm laude con énfasis en Marketing de INCAE Business School -siendo en su momento una de las mujeres más jóvenes en haber logrado este reconocimiento-. Con más de 10 años de experiencia en la industria, Georgina se enfoca en estrategias de marca y planificación de eventos a través de su firma de consultoría REBRAND. Es promotora del empoderamiento femenino a través de diversas Juntas Directivas de las cuales forma parte. Su conocimiento y pasión por la creatividad, la salud y la sostenibilidad la han llevado a liderar numerosas incitativas en pro del desarrollo actual y futuro de Costa Rica. Georgina es la Productora Ejecutiva de Costa Rica Fashion Summit, 2017.
“Apoyo y participo de esta iniciativa porque creo en Costa Rica, en sus recursos, en su gente y en su gran potencial”, explica Georgina. “Es con pequeñas acciones y la unión de esfuerzos que llegaremos a ser el país que todos queremos. Creo en Costa Rica como el líder en temas de sostenibilidad a nivel mundial y el Costa Rica Fashion Summit -para mí- está marcando un antes y un después en una industria no comprendida por muchos, pero de la cual todos somos parte. Creo en apoyar a emprendedores, proveedores y pequeñas empresas y en crear iniciativas locales que se nutran de conocimiento real - porque todo buen cambio empieza por nosotros mismos.”
