Europe is streamlining defence investment, cutting red tape and opening the door for smaller players to compete. For Cyprus, this shift could mark a turning point for SMEs entering EU funded defence and dual use projects.

With faster approvals, simplified access to funding, and stronger support mechanisms, the balance between innovation, competitiveness and market access is being reshaped.

These changes could redefine Cyprus’s role in European supply chains, from participant to producer. The opportunity is emerging, and momentum is building.

Zenox Public Affairs was proud to be part of the organising team, supporting an initiative dedicated to innovation, preservation and collaboration across the digital heritage ecosystem.

The Summit created an important platform for dialogue on how technology can help safeguard, promote and reimagine cultural heritage for future generations.

We are pleased to have contributed to an event that encouraged meaningful discussion, knowledge exchange and new opportunities for cross-sector collaboration.

Transparency remains central to trust in EU policymaking.

Transparency is not only about making information public. It is about making it understandable.

Cyprus’ first MP Evaluation Index turns formal parliamentary activity into clear, comparable data for citizens, journalists, researchers, and civil society.

EU advocacy is becoming more complex.
With fragmented Commission portfolios, stronger central coordination, and tighter consultation windows, effective engagement now requires sharper institutional insight.
The new Brussels landscape demands more than access. It requires evidence-based strategy, policy literacy, and a clear understanding of where decisions are actually shaped.
Responsible lobbying begins with knowing the system.

The second von der Leyen Commission has made EU advocacy more complex. The 2024-2029 College is organised around the President, Executive Vice-Presidents, the High Representative/Vice-President, and Commissioners whose portfolios often overlap. Although decisions formally remain collective, advocate...

The European Parliament has backed the first EU-wide standards for the protection of cats and dogs, marking an important step for animal welfare, traceability and market transparency.

The new framework introduces harmonised rules on breeding, housing, microchipping, registration and cross-border trade — with important implications for breeders, shelters, online platforms and enforcement authorities.

At Zenox Public Affairs, we continue to follow this file closely as it moves toward final adoption.

Europe’s policy agenda is becoming more strategic and interconnected.

The Nicosia meeting highlighted a clear shift: security, energy, budget priorities, and single market reform are no longer separate debates. They are part of one broader effort to strengthen European resilience and competitiveness.

For stakeholders, the message is clear: effective public affairs must now connect geopolitical awareness with early policy engagement.

Zenox Public Affairs at the Delphi Economic Forum XI

This week, Zenox Public Affairs is present at the Delphi Economic Forum XI in Delphi, Greece, one of Europe's most significant gatherings of political, business and thought leaders, bringing together heads of government, EU commissioners, ministers, diplomats and senior executives from across the globe.

Over the course of the Forum, discussions are spanning an exceptionally broad agenda: from energy security, geopolitical realignment and the future of transatlantic relations, to AI, digital transformation, investment, healthcare, education and the long-term resilience of European economies. The depth and diversity of the conversations reflect the complexity of the moment we are living through.

Our CEO Nicolas Kyriakides participated as a panelist in the discussion on "Advancing the U.S.-Greece Energy Partnership: Policy, Investment, and Security", contributing the Cyprus perspective to a conversation of growing strategic importance for the entire Eastern Mediterranean region.

With over 1,200 speakers and more than 200 sessions, the Forum is a powerful reminder of the opportunities that come with understanding change before it fully arrives. In an environment evolving as rapidly as this one, the organisations that are best positioned will be those that stay close to the conversation, engage thoughtfully with the landscape, and build the strategic relationships that turn insight into impact. Because ultimately, the organisations that lead, will be those that convert insight into strategy and strategy into action, before the window of opportunity closes.
