Why do you need to spend extra money on packaging and cargo insurance?
What you shouldn't save on is the packaging. Anything can happen on the way, and this is not only the human factor but also natural disasters. Lousy packaging can be damaged during transportation, and you will receive a damaged product, which you cannot then use in production, sell, or return. Therefore, it is better to spend extra money on additional packaging than to lose the item entirely.
One more advice from our managers - if you have a small cargo, then for convenient and safe transportation combine boxes of your shipment with boxes of goods from other companies, it is called a special term: "places." Firstly, it guarantees the safety of the cargo, and secondly, you cut down expenses on delivery.
You shouldn't save on insurance either. By paying only 2%, you will not notice a big difference in the amount, but at the same time, you will protect yourself from any force majeure. If suddenly the cargo was lost, it was stolen or confiscated at customs; then, you can get a full refund.
Our advice is that it is better to include an additional 5% in the shipping cost for the better packaging of the cargo and order insurance. This way, you will minimize the risks in the delivery of goods.
