Dublab Session by Oda – Düsseldorf and Photography Book Release Special

A listening session featuring sets by Yonca Yildirim and Stephanie Passul as part of the launch event for the publication ‘Düsseldorf and Photography’, 12th August 2026 at Künstlerverein Malkasten in Düsseldorf. The publication was produced in connection with the ‘Düsseldorf and Photography’ exhibition at Paris Photo Fair 2025 and brings together artistic works by students, lecturers and workshop leaders at the Düsseldorf Art Academy, who explore the medium of photography in its many and varied forms.

In her three-chapter set, Stephanie constructs an associative narrative from ambivalent soundscapes and interweaves them with excerpts from her photographic archive.

The event was organized by Kim-Camille Kreuz and George Popov.

Surreal fragments of a bodiless twilight dream, coming together to form a sonic still life of hypnotic images and cinematic cuts.

Tomorrow on at 11:00 CET - a new episode of Private Sphere hosted by Oda .passul and Tobias Lichter .industries

This Thursday 10:00 a.m. on LYL Radio:

When the acid dream got sour. When turning on turned into bittersweet and bloody rebellion. When government progpaganda turned from subtle manipulation to vicious lies. When love turned to confusion, confusion to despair, despair to hate. When the war started screaming louder and society’s cracks widened. All fueled, amplified and supercharged by groundbreaking mind-expanding chemical laboratory discoveries, accidentally (or not?) let loose on a disillusioned and rebellious youth eager to go all the way.

This edition of Private Sphere’s bi-monthly LYL Radio appearance is a prototypical sonic collage by Tobias Lichter .industries – A work-in-progress stemming from an ongoing personal research into the deeper depths of American acid sub-/counterculture and its peak in the late 1960s. A blend of dark-edged, gloomy, confused and moody tunes by obscure, turned-on creative youngsters accross the States, reflecting the anxious zeitgeist shortly after the „summer of love“, with spoken word snippets lifted from contemporary media coverage. Farewell to naive „flower power“, here comes the true sound of confusion …

A new episode of Private Sphere is airing this Thursday 8am, Paris time on

With this edition of Private Sphere’s bi-monthly LYL show, Lilli Lake & George Popov from Düsseldorf created a soundscape with the title Too Late Now.

Too Late Now lingers with a subtle restlessness, as if something slightly feral were reorganising the air around it. Ambient textures, spoken fragments, and threads of folk, drone, and noise fold into a repeating, dissolving, and returning structure bent by brief delays
