Hellloooo friends!

Chances are, you or someone you know is an ESL person. I’m building a community for ESL women* to look at the English language that we use in our daily life. How are they serving our purposes or holding us back? What small changes can we make to be in better alignment with ourselves, since we have multiple languages in our head?

Join me in the next Conversation Circle and keep showing up this community is only as amazing as your presence at every meet-up 🙃🌻

See you soon!

If you think you've been outdoors and worked out your whole body this summer, think again.

This is the final piece of training you'll want to do before stepping back into the office in autumn.

This August, Train It Like You Mean It.

I mean, you don't have to. But do you want to sound like Martina at work?😛

Weekend is kick-back time, am I right? But WAIT A MINUTE! ⬇️
Who do you hang around? Who do you spend most of your time with? Even in your downtime - or ESPECIALLY in your downtime - notice who you’re spending a lot of time with.
Are they the kind of person you want to be?
Are they the kind of learner that you admire?
Do they make you want to DO and BE the best version of yourself?
I’m looking to start Business English conversation groups online and in-person. Give a 👊🏼 if you want to hang out with people who want confidence to speak English just like you!

❤️This one is an oldie but a goodie 🤓
Marcel S. was one of my first group training participants 3.5 years ago. There’s always been a stereotype that “IT people can handle neither language nor communication.” I can only say that Marcel and his group dusted that stereotyped off their shoulders and trained hard to give a very enjoyable tour of the shop floor (steel mill).
They may not know much about steel or the machines, but they knew enough to make guests feel like they’ve learned something about steel production. And isn’t that the best kind of feeling? 🤩🤩
I had and still have the pleasure of teaching professionals who are willing to prove themselves wrong about working with a second language. Are you one of them? Drop a 🙌🏼 if you are!

🎙🎛Have you ever thought, “why do I sound like THAT in English?!😩”
There’s a lot of science behind this! But to keep it as simple as possible, it’s because different languages have (or need) different sounds. It’s what shapes pronunciation and accent and whether you sound higher or lower-pitched, for example.
And in case you have been shy in speaking practice, let this carousel post help you. The world is becoming more familiar to you the more you practice to speak English! 🙏🏼💪🏼❤️

Hello, can I soeak with you about something?🤓🤓🤓
The older phrase “to talk to someone” is perfectly correct but has an unspoken hierarchy behind it. As companies and businesses restructure and modernize, so do the language that supports it.

If your mind has been saying, “watch the movie in original sound!” or “stop translating your emails!” - DO IT. You’ll never know if you’ve improved until YOU ACTUALLY DO IT 🔥🔥🔥
And you know what? It’s better to not understand or make a mistake NOW than LATER 💪🏼

🔥When my clients end their courses with a big smile and say things like this🔥
Sometimes changes come slowly, sometimes you can feel them almost immediately. One thing is for sure: I always remind all my clients to keep working on their English so they can keep improving - with or without me by their side.
Give me a ❤️ if you’ve had a teacher or trainer that motivated you to continue learning after a course ends!

I had the pleasure of starting a new course with a lovely client today. The company she works for has been bought over by a global conglomerate, and of course their company language is English.
So before she ends up like this guy 👆🏻, we’re going to make sure she’ll be a marketing pro - in German AND English - in just a few months’ time.
Would you work hard for a few months if it means you don’t have to sit at the same position for 25 years? 💪🏼🔥🔥
