Progress update from the VET4DATACOOPERATION consortium! 🤝

On 31 March, our VET4DATACOOPERATION team met online to align on the road ahead. Five months into the project, we are full steam ahead with developing hands-on, practical training for manufacturing SMEs in Europe to enable secure data sharing.

After concluding the needs analysis survey with almost 100 participants, we got a clear picture of the status quo. While there is a strong interest in data cooperation across the European manufacturing industry, implementation is lagging behind. This is why we are now developing five training modules to enable small and medium-sized enterprises to engage in industrial data cooperation.

Thank you very much to everyone who participated in our survey. Your insights are crucial in helping us to develop relevant training content in order to strengthen Europe’s manufacturing ecosystem with the skills, tools and confidence needed to participate in data‑driven collaboration.

🇩🇪INI-Novation GmbH and 🇧🇬 Budakov Films Ltd remain fully committed to maintaining, using, and further integrating the results developed within this Small-Scale Partnership—extending its impact across the partner countries 🇪🇺🇩🇪🇧🇬
👉 Today’s partner meeting marked an important step forward, aligned with the project’s sustainability strategy. We agreed to proceed by:
✅ Actively using and updating the training materials, videos, and tools in future educational and professional contexts
✅ Integrating the project results into ongoing organisational activities, training programmes, and new initiatives
✅ Expanding dissemination through networks, events, and collaborations to ensure long-term impact beyond the project lifecycle
Sustainability in action—this is how Erasmus+ results live on. 🌱

🎉 Project Completed: “Navigating AI Regulations – A Practical Guide”

We are proud to announce the successful completion of the Erasmus co-funded project “Navigating AI Regulations: A Practical Guide”, implemented by INI-Novation GmbH and Budakov Films Ltd.
The project empowers trainers and freelance professionals in the creative industries by addressing key gaps in AI knowledge, digital skills, and EU policy awareness. Based on a thorough needs analysis, we developed five practical training modules, supported by instructional videos that translate complex AI and regulatory topics into clear, visual, and actionable learning.

🔍 Key impacts include:
✔️ Improved understanding of the EU AI Act, risk classification, compliance, transparency, and data governance
✔️ Enhanced digital and AI-driven creative skills
✔️ Increased awareness of EU policies for responsible, ethical, and sustainable AI use

🚀 VET4DATACOOPERATION Project Has Officially Launched!
We are pleased to announce the kick-off of VET4DATACOOPERATION, a European project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, supporting manufacturing companies and SMEs in adopting Gaia-X–compliant data sharing.

📍 The consortium met in Vienna for the first in-person meeting, hosted by INI-Novation at EIT Manufacturing East GmbH, marking the start of a strong European collaboration.

🎯 The project will deliver practical training modules, online courses, and learning resources to help companies confidently engage in data spaces and unlock new opportunities in the digital economy.
