Ophthalmic surgical devices are our core business — and more are on the way. But our development pipeline goes further: we are also working on innovative hydrogel-based technologies as medical devices for ophthalmology and beyond.
Our CEO will present some of these technologies at the BiotroniS Innovation Meetup at the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden (IPF).

We are pleased to announce that TissueGUARD's leadership team will present our latest developments in ophthalmic medical devices and regenerative biotechnologies at the World Eye Bank Symposium (WEBS 2026) in Prague on 25 June 2026.
Simone Arndt, M.Sc. will present our novel DSAEK devices and graft preparation technology (thanks to Sächsische Aufbaubank - Förderbank -), while Mikhail Tsurkan, PhD, will present our work on regenerative medicine approaches using bioengineered Descemet membranes for corneal endothelial replacement.
These scientific presentations highlight our ongoing efforts to advance corneal transplantation through innovative research and technology development. We look forward to engaging with colleagues from the global eye banking, corneal surgery, and ophthalmology communities at WEBS 2026.

We will be attending Medtec Japan in Tokyo from 21–23 April and are currently seeking partners for our ophthalmic surgical devices.
During the same week, thanks to Start2 Group and German Accelerator, we will also participate in the SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026 exhibition on April 27-29, where we will present our latest developments in innovative hydrogel-based medical technologies.
