We’re fully committed to offering our customers precision-fit, highly efficient warehouse equipment for every application. To make sure that we’re optimally positioned in this field, we have now added enhanced functions, technologies, and safety features as well as state-of-the-art innovations to four classic STILL products:

Reducing the need for goods transfers. Pooling resources. Optimising structures. Increasing storage density. Reducing cold store staff workload. – With the consolidation of three deep-freeze warehouses in Hamburg, Block Logistik has big plans. To bring this to fruition, they have teamed up with a strong partner: STILL! 🤝

Our concept: a smart, comprehensive solution comprising a fully automated pallet shuttle system, automated guided vehicles, conveyor technology, software, and service – backed by a high level of expertise, experience, and understanding of customer needs.

The center pieces of the installation are a STILL cold store stacker iGo – the first automated high-lift pallet truck suitable for deep-freeze environments – and a fully automated STILL iGo Cube compact storage system with 3,700 storage locations and four shuttles, all in a deep-freeze version.

The operational rollout of this pioneering project is set to begin in autumn 2026. We look forward to working with our customer and we will, of course, keep you posted along the way.

"B2Better: Where inventive spirit meets digital – Industrial brands in the spotlight"

That's the title of today's sold-out masterclass at OMR in Hamburg, organised by@Bundesverband Industrie Kommunikation (bvik). And for the first time, STILL wasn't just present in the audience, but also on stage!

Via our successful "Think smart. Act orange." brand campaign, STILL' Senior Director Marketing & Brand Communications, Jan Sachse, demonstrated on Wednesday afternoon how industrial brands succeed in mastering the complex and demanding "supreme discipline" known as B2B marketing. The gain is something that every company and every brand would love to achieve for themselves these days: genuine digital visibility!

Alongside the moderation team consisting of Sabine Hauß from JUMO Headquarters and Alexander Biesalski from BIESALSKI & COMPANY, Jan was also joined by Ann-Katrin Rieser (wienerberger), Benedikt Janßen (SCHUNK) and Dominik Müller (Phoenix Contact). The loading and unloading of lorries at loading bays plays a crucial role for almost all businesses that receive goods. Yet these processes are particularly difficult to automate and remain physically demanding.

Together with the Belgian food retailer Colruyt, STILL has developed a revolutionary solution: the automated loading and unloading of lorries using the autonomous low-lift truck AXL iGo!

So far, the existing solutions had little flexibility because they needed fixed installations. With the AXL iGo, however, everything is solved aboard the vehicle; there is no need for a fixed safety infrastructure. For Colruyt, this is a huge benefit, as Director of Supply Chain Koen De Vos points out: "For us, the existing solutions were innovative but not necessarily adapted to our dense and variable supply chain environment."

The AXL iGo operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, without being tied to a static surrounding. "This allows customers to introduce automation exactly where it creates value," adds our partner with satisfaction.

The proof of concept at Colruyt demonstrates how automation can be gradually integrated into existing processes, thereby achieving several strategic objectives at once: supporting the workforce, improving safety, stabilising processes and – as already mentioned – maintaining flexibility.
