Danke an dieses großartige Team für den Einsatz, die Kreativität und das Durchhaltevermögen. Auch ein großer Dank an die Vielen, die nicht auf dem Foto zu sehen sind weil entweder die Erkältung schneller da als das Event vorbei war oder weil sie zu diesem Zeitpunkt schlicht noch im Einsatz waren!

I’m so excited to be speaking at this year's Immersive Experience Network Summit on Monday 21st Oct at the lovely Woolwich Works in London.

I’ll be sharing the story about our multi-year journey with the actor driven, theatrical scare experience „The Hotel“ at FORT FUN Abenteuerland theme park in Germany.

Find out about the obvious and sometimes not so obvious learnings, challenges and questions we faced that ultimately contributed to the experience going from „Ok“ to „Oh wow!“ including:

Hey New York! Diese Woche findet das Summit 2024 der World Experience Organisation statt und ich darf am Freitag eine Masterclass zum Thema geben, warum es sinnvoll sein kann Angst als Designelement auch in Experiences abseits von Scare Attractions einzusetzen.

Aber das Beste and der Woche wird der klassentreffenartige Austausch mit Experience Designern aus der ganze Welt sein. London 2023 war schon super, NYC wird noch besser.

Die Woche wird spannend. Das ist sicher!

🇩🇪 Es gibt diese „Weisheiten“ oder „Geheimrezepte“ des Haunted Attraction Designs die jeder kennt, die aber selten jemand so schön und prägnant zusammengefasst hat wie Mark Lofthouse beim Immersive Experience Network Huddle in London gestern Abend. 😆👏

🇬🇧 In haunted attraction design, there are these „design secrets“ or „words of wisdom“ that everybody know and follows but I have rarely seen summarised so beautifully like from Mark Lofthouse at the Immersive Experience Network huddle in London yesterday evening. 😆👏

It’s that time of year again where the haunted attraction and interactive entertainment industry descends onto the Americas Center in St Louis, MO. And while a lot of the business here may be buying props, masks, animatronics or even whole attractions, it is also a great way to learn new things and talk to peers from the industry about trends and how to’s. The seminar program is as diverse as the community itself and I highly recommend joining a few. Even if you think you have seen everything, believe me, you have not. You just never stop learning.
And with day one behind us, I’m already looking forward to the next. If you’re at the show and see me somewhere, come on over and say Hi!
