Last Friday was a milestone day for Pure Yachts:
Triple Pures sailing together on Kiel fjord, celebrating the handover and christening of "Ember", our second Pure 42.

The day and the weather could not have been any better – and the new owners Hendrik and Ingrid could not have been any happier. This of cause also goes for the whole Pure yards crew.

We wish Ember, Hendrik and Ingrid the proverbial hand's breadth of water under the keel, many happy seamiles and years with each other. May you always return from your voyages with the same bright smiles on your faces, as we have seen last Friday!

Thanx to Bjarne Rubin and Arne Zils for the spectacular pics!

Yesterday, after a beautiful set of UK-Sails came on, our Pure 42 # 2 got her very first splash and successfully completed her first nautical miles for engine tests and system callibration.
Today she is back ashore for some more fine tuning, before inwater testing will commence tomorrow.

Friday will be the big day with the (official) christianing and handover to her new owners.
If you are in Kiel watch out around noon for the three (!) orange roofs of all our Pure yachts sailing side by side in front of the city of Kiel!

Yesterday, after long weeks of preparation, was a very special day at Pure Yachts (and a pretty long one!):

Factory rollout, keel mounting and mast stepping of our second Pure 42!
It is our first real customer 42, so it is all pretty exciting! She will be handed over to her new owners end of next week, after some thorough sea trials during the week, to ensure that all systems are running flawlessly.
