Unity Cup 2026 – this time, our girls owned the court!

Our girls at Hemmersbach Kids’ Home, teamed up with colleagues from the corporate office for the Unity Cup Throwball 2026. Children and adults stood side by side on the same court – playing, supporting and winning together.

The Unity Cup 2026 Throwball, was more than a game.
It was joy, encouragement, teamwork and shared achievements.

Moments like these remind us that sports don’t just build skills – they build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create a true sense of belonging.
Every cheer, every pass, every point told a story of unity and mutual support.
The smiles said it all. Real learning happens when we play, share experiences and uplift each other.

What a season for Team Hemmersbach!
From No Finish Line Athens 2026, where every step helped support children in need, to the Company Run in Poland, where we ran side by side as one team, to Family Day filled with smiles, and our Austria Chill Event with relaxed moments together – each event was different, but the feeling was the same.

One decision can protect a child’s entire future.
And an alcohol-free pregnancy is the safest start.

At Hemmersbach Kids’ Family Poland, we are driving a social campaign aiming to raise awareness about FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders) and build greater understanding for children and families facing developmental challenges related to FASD.
Too many people are still unaware of how alcohol during pregnancy can impact a child’s lifelong development. Our goal is to educate parents, caregivers and professionals, raise public awareness about FASD and developmental challenges and promote alcohol-free pregnancy as the safest start for a child.

Because one decision can change everything.

At Hemmersbach Kids' Family , we support children from challenging backgrounds. In Poland, our activities focus on supporting children in foster care improving their living conditions, and providing access to education, medical and psychological care.

Unity Cup 2026

It all began last year with a cricket match right here on our Hemmersbach Kids’ Home campus. This past Sunday, we brought it back with a special twist, introducing the Unity Cup and taking the spirit of the game to a whole new level.

The Unity Cup was designed to go beyond a typical cricket match, creating a space for participation, leadership, and teamwork between our children and Hemmersbach colleagues – bringing everyone together.

Four teams took part in the tournament, with each team consisting of 4 children and 3 adult volunteers. Children were placed in leadership roles, lead their teams, made decisions on the field and guided the course of the game, while adults supported them as players and mentors.

From exciting matches to the final showdown, the winning team, Thunder Strikers lifted the cup for 2026!

A big thank you to our volunteers who contributed their time and energy and to our audience – our children and colleagues from the corporate office, who were present throughout the event and cheered every run scored and every wicket taken.

And just as the energy continues to build, it’s time for the girls to take the spotlight with the upcoming Throwball Tournament – so, stay tuned!

Behind every rhino saved, is a ranger risking everything to protect it.

Out in the bush, far from hospitals and immediate help, the unexpected is part of everyday life – and that’s why our rangers’ trainings go far beyond anti-poaching.

At Hemmersbach Rhino Force , we equip those who risk their lives for rhinos with the skills they need to protect themselves and others. Our rangers undergo continuous trainings, with every squad member certified in advanced first aid for high-risk and remote environments, where every second counts.

Because protecting wildlife in remote areas requires more than expertise – it calls for strength, preparation, and action in critical moments.
