Wasted time creates the magic!

I recently was interviewed by the legendary .malinic Malinic 📖 on his Mindful Creative Podcast.

He made me think deeper.

Creativity doesn’t make sense.
It’s not logical.
It doesn’t run on spreadsheets or Gantt charts.

It runs on emotions.
On intuition.
On the unexplainable spark that makes something extraordinary.

But here’s the problem.
We’ve been taught to think rationally.
To plan. To optimize. To systematize.

And in the process, we kill the magic.

Magic happens in the “wasted” time.
In the conversations that go nowhere.
In the hours spent sketching, wandering, and wondering.

The best creative businesses protect that space.
They thrive on freedom and emotion—not cold logic.

If you try to force creativity into a rational box, you’ll lose the magic.
And without magic, what’s the point?

The work we create should make people stop.
Feel something.
Change something.

Don’t trade that for systems and shortcuts.
