AVKRVST - The Approbation (2023)

Apparently we’re in anniversary season!!
Today marks 3 years since our debut album «The Approbation» was released. We almost didn’t release it at all, how about that? Haha!

A lot has happened since then, including releasing «Waving at the Sky» almost exactly two years later.

Thanks again for being part of the journey! Your support means the world to us 🖤 We can’t wait to perform songs from both albums this coming friday at Midsummer Prog Festival

We are very excited to welcome Part of the Theory to the Glassville Music family.
This band from Athens (Greece) made a huge impression on many people with their first single release ‘ Famished Mammon’. Resulting in many raving reviews and being chosen ‘Best metal song of the week’ in the Metal Hammer UK.
The music video was recognised for its artistic aesthetic and reached the top 4 nominations at the IMDB-accredited AFIN AWARDS for ‘Best Music Video” in Australia.
The band also composed original material for the Netflix series ‘Maestro in Blue’.
Currently they are working on the debut album, to be released in 2027.

One year ago «Waving at the Sky» was released into the world!

It’s been an incredible year and we’re so grateful for the response the album has received. Seeing so many of you connect with the music, share your thoughts, come to the shows and support us along the way has meant more than we can put into words.

What started as an idea and a story we wanted to tell became something much bigger thanks to all of you!

Thank you for listening, streaming, buying records and merch, and being part of this journey. We couldn’t have asked for a better first year for Waving at the Sky.

Here’s to the first anniversary, and to whatever comes next! 🖤

Lesoir | 28.06 | London Prog Gigs 🇬🇧

The upcoming London Prog Gigs show featuring Dutch proggers Lesoir, with support from the UK's Storm Deva, at the Camden Club on Sunday June 28 has been recognised by Everywhere At Once powered by The National Lottery, which is great news for prog in general, the bands and the hard work of Chris Parkins.

Taking place from 26–28 June, Everywhere At Once powered by The National Lottery brings together 1000+ gigs, 400+ venues and 1 weekend, creating the UK’s biggest music festival on your doorstep. The campaign celebrates grassroots live music and the venues, promoters, artists and audiences that keep it thriving.

“London Prog Gigs is a driving force and has always been very supportive of Lesoir. It’s an honour to return to London once again under their wings. We will definitely have some new tunes on the setlist!” says Lesoir guitarist and founding member Ingo Dassen.

“Being included in Everywhere At Once feels great because it places this show inside a national celebration of the grassroots venues where music really lives,” adds Storm Deva founding member and guitarist Stuart Clark. “The Camden Club is already an important place for us, and returning there with Lesoir, London Prog Gigs and new Storm Deva music feels like exactly the right way to mark it.”

The show is a lunchtime show, with doors at 1pm and music starting at 1.30pm.
