At Hemmersbach Kids' Family we believe in education for a better future.

In Poland, we support learning through skillplanet, our free e-learning platform dedicated to foster care, where we provide essential knowledge and build the motivation for constant development.

But children thrive, when adults know how to support them.

That's why we also support caregivers, foster parents, social workers, psychologists and educators through webinars and conferences, designed to gain specialist knowledge and improve adults' competences in caring for foster children.

At Hemmersbach Kids’ Family, we are committed to supporting children from challenging backgrounds. In Poland, we support children by providing knowledge and material, access to medical and psychological care, and directly involving ourselves into foster care renovations and activities.

Some fixes happen on a screen. The real ones happen on someone’s face. Patrick Rath, one of our Team Leads Onsite at Hemmersbach Germany, still remembers a case where solving the technical issue was only half the job. The other half was watching someone’s stress finally drain away, going from stuck and frustrated to visibly relieved. Not the ticket closed, not the SLA met, but the person who walked away lighter than they came in. That’s the metric that matters to him.

This year, on August 15th, we celebrated Independence Day at our Hemmersbach Kids' Home, in India – but this time, it wasn't organized by us. It was led by our own elder children and educators.

Watching them step up, we couldn't help but ask ourselves:
what does independence truly mean?

And for us, it's never been just a date on a calendar.

It's a child taking their first steps toward their own path, a young mind finding the courage to use its own voice, a family built not by circumstance, but by love and care.
