Ready for take-off… in style! 🤩 When crew members head to the Philippines on leave, or join Goodcrew as new crew, they will now receive their own suitcase upon arrival at our agency. A simple, useful addition to make their journey a bit easier. Wishing all our crew a safe and comfortable trip!

Not a bad ‘office view’, right? At Goodcrew, the job comes with something extra. Our crew members wake up to mountain ranges, sail past endless waters, and dock in some of the most impressive harbours. One day it’s a glowing sunset, the next it’s a skyline that takes your breath away. These are the moments in between the hard work: the views that make every journey unique. 🤩

This year, we surprised our clients with a practical and personalised holiday gift: a doormat! 🚪 Instead of the usual Christmas hamper or bottle of wine, we chose something useful, personal and made to last. A small end-of-year gesture that adds a warm welcome at the door.

Ricky Penalosa from the Philippines has been part of our Goodcrew since 2023. Although he currently sails mainly in Germany, that doesn't stop him from singing in Dutch! He discovered Guus Meeuwis’s ‘Het is een nacht’ on YouTube and has been singing it everywhere ever since. 🎤 He now knows the lyrics and understands the meaning, and he can play the chords on his guitar while singing! “Music is very important to me, it makes me feel good! I sing it in the shower, at work, or with my guitar on my lap.” He has also set his sights on Frans Bauer’s music.

Goodcrew = Good for all!
‘Good for all’ means that, as a member of our crew, you will earn a good salary, receive insurance, and enjoy development opportunities. It also means providing your family in the Philippines with a medical card and a scholarship for your children. We are constantly working to improve our already excellent employment terms.
