As I passed 11 years cancer free on 30 JUL 2021. This might have been the most timely advice from an unusual author. The ability to meditate, yoga, eat clean and focus on the moment. The thoughts of all I was going to lose was keeping me from focusing on the task at hand - defeating cancer through superior medical care at and allowing my body to take control through Yoda’s advice 😉 🧘‍♂️ Thanks Dr Shnayder, the best ENT SURGEON in the 🌎

Today was an unusual but beautiful run this morning from Wiesbaden to Mainz. I normally run a very, very slow 1/2 marathon (21km) the week before my marathons. The Hamburg Marathon is my favorite (ran 5x’s) marathon in the world! The Hamburg Marathon was Scheduled for 19 April 2020 and, is obviously cancelled due to world circumstances. I decided to take a long slow half marathon distance this morning anyway. I ran to Opel Arena (home of Mainz05 ⚽️) of the 1st Div Bundesliga. I’ll continue to train for next marathon, whenever that is? I’ll continue to be blessed everyday that I’m almost 10 years cancer free (10May20) and living and loving life here in Germany 🇩🇪 with my beautiful wife. We moved back to Germany on 28 May 2019 after spending two years running my communication consulting business back in the states. I’ve spent the last 10 months with an amazing team at US Army Europe, teaching online college courses, attending the US Army War College online and crushing my crushing my fitness(weights, running and yoga daily) I must be honest, nothing in the world is so beautiful as running through the streets of Germany. Just stunning - beauty! Well, until we can run 42 kilometers together, let’s all keep training until we can. Be safe, keep working out and stay physically and mentally fit.
