Project Blue Beam is a conspiracy theory, not a verified government project.
The theory became widely known through Serge Monast, a Canadian journalist, who described it in the 1990s. The claim is that NASA and/or other powerful government or military organizations supposedly planned to use advanced technology to stage a global religious or extraterrestrial event and manipulate people into accepting a new world order.
Common versions of the theory claim that Project Blue Beam would involve four stages:
Creating a crisis or undermining existing religions — supposedly causing people to lose confidence in established religious institutions.
Projecting images into the sky — allegedly using satellites or holographic technology to make people see enormous religious figures, UFOs, or other supernatural phenomena.
Creating a worldwide “voice of God” experience — supposedly transmitting messages directly into people's minds or creating the impression that God was speaking to them.
A staged extraterrestrial or supernatural event — supposedly convincing humanity that a global authority or new religious order was necessary.
What is actually established?
There is no credible evidence that a real government program called “Project Blue Beam” exists or has operated as described. The theory mixes real technologies—such as satellites, projection systems, psychological operations, and advances in artificial intelligence—with unsupported claims about a coordinated global operation.
