I'm very happy to share that I have officialy graduated from the University of Helsinki with a Master's degree in Chemistry and Molecular Sciences!
Moving to Helsinki has been such a rewarding experience and I had the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally while being surrounded by inspiring people.
I'm particularly grateful for the time I spent in the Sarparanta Lab - Tracers in Molecular Imaging and for everyone who contributed to such an enjoyable learning experience.
Especially for my thesis supervisors Mirkka Sarparanta and Martta Peltoniemi, for their guidance, support and the opportunity to work on such exciting research projects.
I'm excited to see where the next chapter takes me
And finaly I wanna thank the wonderful friends I made along
the way, daylight lamps and vitamin D tablets - you made the
Finnish winters so much more enjoyable!

I'm thrilled to share that I've officially graduated from the Master's Programme in Social and Public Policy, Contemporary Societies at the University of Helsinki!
It feels like yesterday I arrived in Finland knowing almost nothing about the country, excited and nervous. Nearly two years later, I comfortably call it home. I was lucky to be welcomed into the world of social sciences by program director Kimmo Vehkalahti and my track director and thesis
supervisor, Minna van Gervern, who built a community full of care. I'm equally grateful to my thesis supervisor Matti Nelimarkka for his hands-on guidance and genuine investment in my growth.
Coming from a humanities background in language and culture, UH gave me the freedom to pursue social sciences and, along the way, dive into coding and NLP -a skill TIl carry forward. My thesis combined those twO worlds and explored
something close to my heart: how Finnish and Swedish language proficiency shapes employment opportunities for immigrants in Finland, using computational methods to
analyze large-scale job posting data. It's now available online on https://Inkd.in/dDFjXgN3.
Now begins the next chapter: switching from full-time student life to full-time job hunting . I'm excited to see what doors open next - and always happy to connect if you know of opportunities where my background might be a good fit!

I am delighted to share that I have been awarded the Robin
McCormick Prize by the Saltire Society, in connection to The
University of Edinburgh.
Given annually to two third-year students, the prize
awarded for outstanding academic performance and most promising dissertation topic. It was established by Mrs Morag MacCormick in memory of her late husband, and it is such an honour to receive it.
This afternoon I was warmly hosted for a lunch by
representatives of the Saltire Society and the The University of Edinburgh professors who nominated me, where I received my certificate and had the opportunity to share more about my dissertation plans.
In hopes of writing an ethnographic and historical
dissertation, the prize fund will be beneficial in supporting any necessary fieldwork, giving me the chance to create and utilise local oral history as invaluable sources. Going into my fourth and final year at the University of Edinburgh, this
recognition has given me great confidence, and I look forward to completing my studies next year!

lifesaving practice- an apt specialty where volunteering
bears a great responsibility
What a terrific day - where even co-Supervisor Mai-Britt
Hägi-Pedersen was there
Great when the baton is taken and the next researcher -
generation is ready.

Yesterday I wrote about the fact that I have now been prime minister for 7 years. Today it's 11 years since I was elected chairman of the Social Democracy 🌹

If I had been told, when I was 24 years old and just elected to the Parliament, that I would have managed to mark 11 years as the party's chairman.. and 7 of them as prime ministers.. then I probably wouldn't have quite believed it. But it fills me with a lot of gratitude🙏🏼

I have loved our party since I was a little girl. I still do. And I’m going to do that for the rest of my life.

Being allowed to lead the movement that has meant so much to Denmark is a privilege I do not take for granted. Thank you to the Social Democracy for the support to me as your chairman 🌹

Summer's knocking, one must say 😊 Take care of yourselves and each other in the heat. In the next few weeks my channels will be a bit quieter than usual.

5 June is Constitution Day in Denmark - and the closest we come to a national day 🇩🇰

It is the day where we celebrate and appreciate our democracy, and where we remind ourselves of the importance of actively passing​ on our civic rights and duties to the future generations 🗳️✨

The day is celebrated with flag-raising ceremonies, which often feature group singing, speeches, and local politicians engaging with their constituents 🇩🇰

This year's Constitution Day comes just days after Denmark formed a new government, making it a timely reminder of the importance of democratic institutions and civic participation🏛️
