Honoured and delighted to deliver the Keynote Presentation on the occasion of the celebration of International HR Day at the UU HR Summit 2026, jointly organized by Federation of Bangladesh Human Resources Organizations (FBHRO) and Uttara University.

More than 400 participants — including CEOs, HR professionals, faculty members, and students — attended the summit, making it a vibrant platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and celebrating the growing importance of Human Resources in Bangladesh.

I sincerely appreciate the organizers for arranging such a meaningful event and thank all participants for their enthusiastic engagement. It was a wonderful opportunity to discuss the future of HR, leadership, people development, and the evolving workplace in the era of transformation.

Together, we can continue to strengthen the HR profession and contribute to building better organizations and a better Bangladesh.

It is necessary to either mention the salary in all job advertisements or ask the candidates to mention the expected salary in the application. Please don’t misguide the innocent candidates by mentioning attractive salary or salary is negotiable in the advertisements. I was once embarrassed in an external interview panel member when the organisation offered the selected candidate BDT 60K as attractive salary for GM position wheeras the candidate was getting BDT 150K as the AGM.
