211 LED signs. Zero gate staff needed. Every truck at Port of Tallinn gets routed automatically the moment it arrives — the display knows where to send it because it's talking directly to the port's software. Built in Estonia. Running in all weather.

The display should fit the project, not the other way around.

No two infrastructure projects are exactly the same.

The location, viewing distance, mounting conditions, content requirements and existing systems can all be different.

That is why Ampron display solutions can be adapted to the real operating environment. This can include the display size and brightness, mounting, software and integrations.

Customisation does not always mean creating everything from scratch. It means making proven technology work for the customer’s actual needs.

From Estonia to Thailand.

Thailand is a price-conscious market with many lower-cost alternatives, so it is not always the easiest place for a European manufacturer to compete.

But this customer was not simply looking for the cheapest display.

They were looking for a reliable solution that could meet their actual operational needs.

They found Ampron - and chose our LED display system for their container terminal in Thailand.

For us, this installation is a reminder that thoughtful engineering, flexibility and reliability can travel a long way.

Designed and built in Estonia. Used across the globe.

Visibility is not just about brightness.

When choosing outdoor or infrastructure displays, brightness is important - but it is not the whole story.

Real readability depends on many factors:

• viewing distance
• viewing angle
• sunlight and weather conditions
• anti-glare protection
• font size
• content contrast
• installation position

A display can have high brightness, but if the information is hard to read in real conditions, it does not solve the problem.

For ports, airports, railways and industrial sites, visibility means one thing:

The right information must be clear at the right moment.

That is why we design display systems based on the environment and how people actually use the information.

Reliability is not proven on installation day.

A new display solution can look excellent on the first day.

But in ports, airports, railways and industrial environments, the real test begins when the system operates daily - for years.

Do the displays continue to run reliably?
Does the information reach the right place at the right time?
Can the solution be maintained and further developed as needs change?

In infrastructure solutions, a display is not just a visual element. It is part of everyday operations.

That is why long-term reliability is one of the most important indicators of quality.

We are pleased to share feedback from a long-term partner:

“Ampron has kept our boards running reliably for close to 10 years, contributed to the digitalisation of our signage, and always proactively engaged on how to improve the solutions further”.

The gate opens in the morning. The gate closes in the evening. By itself. With no monthly fee.

Do you know that feeling when you leave home in a hurry and spend half the way wondering if you left the gate open?

We knew that feeling too well. So we decided to look for a solution: a gate controller that works on a schedule, independently, without internet and without a monthly subscription.

That product simply did not exist. So we built our own.

Ampron Gate opens and closes your gate exactly when you want it to, every day, automatically. It works even when the internet is down. You can control it from your phone. It can be integrated with AI. And most importantly, you pay once and own it forever.

✔ Schedule setup
✔ Phone control
✔ Works offline
✔ No monthly fee. Ever.

Not every display is made for the same purpose.

A screen used for advertising in a shopping centre is very different from a display used at an airport, port, railway station or traffic management area.

Infrastructure displays need to do more than show content.

They must operate reliably, remain visible in changing weather and lighting conditions, and integrate with larger systems such as traffic, logistics or control platforms.

That is why infrastructure displays require:
• 24/7 operation
• strong visibility
• durable hardware
• system integration
• long-term serviceability

At Ampron, we design display systems for transportation, smart city and industrial environments - where clear information supports real operations every day.

“Does your display support API?”

Most suppliers will say yes.

But in many projects, the real challenge starts after the hardware is installed.

Outdated documentation, closed proprietary protocols and complex integrations can quickly turn a simple display project into a long and expensive process.

At Ampron, we wanted to make integration simpler.

Our display systems are built around a standard REST API - making it easier for developers to connect displays with traffic systems, logistics platforms, booking systems and other software.

✔ Public documentation
✔ Standard authentication
✔ Push and pull support
✔ One consistent API across DR, DS and LCD product series

The result?

Projects like Port of K***a and Ridango integrated Ampron displays using their own teams - in days, not months.

Most display suppliers claim their products are 'API-ready'. Here's what that actually means, why it matters for your integration, and what questions to ask before you commit.

It’s Friday afternoon.
You’re staring at the same error code you saw three hours ago.

Documentation? Read. Twice. Forums? Answers from 2019. Support? “We’ll get back to you in 1–3 business days”.

No one sees those lost hours.
The client only sees a missed deadline.

We built the Ampron API to solve exactly this.

Not: “contact support”. Not: “see appendix B, page 47”.

But:
• clear documentation
• real code examples
• stable endpoints
• and actual human support when needed

If this sounds familiar, we should talk.
