hilosophy and culture in the Egyptian context and in particular Strategy and Policy planning implementation, evaluation, and quality assurance. in Sustainable Development from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt in cooperation with Free university of berlin. Among others, his experience spans from public consultations including preparation of Egypt's INDCs report submitted to the UNFCCC Secretariat in Oct 2015, Egypt Sustainable Development Strategy (2030), and Egypt's Voluntary National Review on SDGs submitted to the high level political forum HLPF in July 2017, to private consultations including; Developing institutional frameworks, capacity building and education for SD strategy implementations. In addition, Shalaby has a numerous peered papers and working papers in the field of Sustainable Development strategies and policies. His familiarity with data ecosystems on the environmental, social and economic systems stems from his experience in preparation of these reports which covers the three dimensions of SD. Ehab Shalaby is the founder and CEO of DCarbon Egypt, the only Global reporting certified training partner in Egypt and a member of the golden community. Currently Shalaby is working on a number of projects and consultations including participating in developing Egypt’s first national Biennial Updated report, Egypt’s first Carbon Market and Egypt’s Low Emission carbon Strategy.

We will talk today about a very successful man, Dr Ehab Shalaby, founder and CEO of DCarbon Egypt.

A Leading Researcher in the field of economics of sustainable development, Dr. Shalaby has a 19 years of experience in the fields’ of academic, research, corporate and government policy advising experience on the local, regional and international level; as well as being recognized for teaching excellence based on technical, research and design fundamentals.
