لما النيل كان بيعلى ..
كانت مصر كلها بتتنفس .
مكنش الفيضان مجرد مايه بتغمر الأراضي ، دا كان حياة ..
كان وعد بالخير ، و بداية سنة جديدة مليانة أمل . 🩵
و من هنا ظهر "حَعبِي" معبود النيل والفيضان ، رمز الخصوبة والعطاء ، والسبب في إن الأرض الصحراء تتحول إلى جنة خضراء كل عام .
حَعبِي كان معبود كريم ، بييجي بالخير ، و بيحمل لمصر رزقها على كتفه .
و فيضان النيل يُمثل مصدر الحياة الأولى (بداية الخَلق) عند المصري القديم ، كان بيَقوم عليه كل الأنشطة الزراعية ، و بيسهّل التنقل من مكان لمكان ، كمان سَهّل عملية نقل الأحجار لبناء الاهرامات و المعابد . 🩵
ظَهر المعبود الجميل الخَيّر دا في النصوص المصرية بالتهجئة ( ḥꜥpy : حَعبِي : 𓎛𓂝𓊪𓏭 ) ، و قَدّسُه المصري معنوياً و جَسٌده في هيئة آدمية و اتوَصَف رسمياً بلقب " سيد القرابين : nb-ḏfꜣ.w : نِب-چِفَاو " ، كمان اتذكر اسمه كتير في فيما يُعرف بـ " أناشيد مديح حَعبِي " في الفقرات من 317 لـ 321 من نصوص التوابيت . 🩵
كمان ارتبط "حَعبِي" بالمتوفى و مساعدته في العالم الآخر ، فهو بيمد ايده للمتوفى ، و في تعويذة أخرى من نصوص التوابيت بنلاقي أنه المتوفى بيتطهر بماء الفيضان ..
و من بين صفاته و نعوته اللي اتسم بيها كانت ( ḥꜥpy-ꜥꜣ : حَعبِي-عا : بمعنى "حَعبِي العظيم / الفيضان العظيم" ) ، ( ḥꜥpy-ꜥꜣ-wr : حَعبِي-عا-وِر : بمعنى "الفيضان الكبير العظيم" ) ..
و كمان "حَعبِي" : سيد الأسماك و الطيور ، نتيجة لارتباطها بالنيل . 🩵
أما بقى بالنسبة لظهوره و تصويره ، فكان أول تصوير ليه بيرجع لعصر "الدولة القديمة" ، عهد الملك "سنفرو" في دهشور ..
و من بداية الأسرة الخامسة ، اتصور ضمن أرباب / معبودات الخصوبة في المعبد الجنائزي للملك "سا-حو-رع" في السجل السفلي لجدران المعبد ..
و من الأسرة التاسعة عشرة ، لقينا نقش فيه شكلين لحبيبنا "حَعبِي" ، واحد مميز ب البردي لمصر السفلى و التاني بالنبات الرامز لمصر العليا ..
الشكلين مع بعض بيربطوا قُطرَي مصر سوا حول العلامة الهيروغليفية اللي بترمز للتوحيد و هي علامة " smꜣ : سِمَا : 𓄥 " .
و في موسم الفيضان .. كانت بتتقدملُه قرابين كتير و تحديداً في ليلة اسمها "ليلة نزول النقطة" ، الليلة دي بتسبق وصول الفيضان لمنطقة بتتوسط عين شمس و منف على النيل ..
الاحتفال دا حالياً هو اللي احنا بنسميه " عيد وفاء النيل " في منتصف شهر أغسطس من كل سنة 🥹🩵 .
بكدا تكون حكايتنا مع "حَعبِي" انتهت لحد هنا .. لكنه عمره ما هينتهي من بلدنا و عمره ما هيوَقّف أنه يمدها بالخير .
و الدليل .. إن حَعبِي مرافقنا لغاية دلوقتي حتى في جيوبنا تخيلوا ! و بأبسط الأمور كمان 😂😂😂🩵
طَلّعوا كدا الخمسة جنيه من جيوبكم و مَحافظكم ، و بصوا عليها و قولولي لقيتوا اي ؟ 🌚🩵
When the Nile used to rise...
All of Egypt was breathing.
The flood wasn't just water submerging the land, it was life...
It was a promise of goodness, and the beginning of a new year full of hope. 🩵 🩵
And from here appeared "Hapi," the god of the Nile and the flood, a symbol of fertility and abundance, and the reason the desert land transforms into a green paradise every year.
My beloved was a generous idol, bringing goodness, and carrying Egypt's sustenance on his shoulders.
And the Nile flood represents the primary source of life (the beginning of creation) for the ancient Egyptians. It was the basis for all agricultural activities, facilitated transportation from place to place, and also made it easier to transport stones for building the pyramids and temples. 🩵 🩵
The beautiful and benevolent deity appeared in Egyptian texts with the spelling (ḥꜥpy: ḥʿbī: 𓎛𓂝𓊪𓏭). The Egyptians revered him spiritually and embodied him in human form. He was officially described with the title "Lord of Offerings: nb-ḏfꜣ.w: nb-ḏfʿw." His name is also frequently mentioned in what is known as the "Hymns of Praise to ḥʿbī" in the passages from 317 to 321 of the Coffin Texts. 🩵 🩵
"Ḥabī" is also associated with the deceased and helping him in the afterlife, as he extends his hand to the deceased. In another spell from the coffin texts, we find that the deceased is purified with flood water.
Among his attributes and titles was (ḥꜥpy-ꜥꜣ: ḥʽbī-ʽa: meaning "the Great ḥʽbī / the Great Flood"), (ḥꜥpy-ꜥꜣ-wr: ḥʽbī-ʽa-wr: meaning "the Flood of the Great ḥʽbī").
And also "H'abi": the lord of fish and birds, due to its connection with the Nile. 🩵 🩵
As for its appearance and depiction, the first representation of it dates back to the "Old Kingdom" era, during the reign of King "Sneferu" in Dahshur.
And from the beginning of the Fifth Dynasty, he was depicted among the gods/goddesses of fertility in the funerary temple of King "Sa-Hor-Ra" in the lower register.
And from the Nineteenth Dynasty, we found an inscription featuring two forms of our beloved "Hapi," one distinguished by papyrus for Lower Egypt and the other by the lotus plant for Upper Egypt.
The two shapes together connect the two regions of Egypt around the hieroglyphic symbol that represents unification, which is the symbol "smꜣ : Sima : 𓄥".
And in the flood season... He was offered many sacrifices, specifically on a nite called "The Nite of the Descent of the Point," a nite that precedes the arrival of...
This celebration is currently what we call "Nile Loyalty Day" in mid-August every year 🥹🩵.
With that, our story with "H'abi" ends here... But it will never end in our country and it will never stop.
And the proof... H'api has been with us until now, even in our pockets, can you imagine! And in the simplest things too 😂😂😂🩵
