Natalia Ishterek and Victor Mesogios -
I am a hunterfor human senses, and I'm interested in a real, live human emotions to catch ", - says Natalya Ishterek. Artist came to Barcelona from the hot Greek island, where together with Mesogios Victor they worked in their own gallery "Island of Dream ".
"My idea of contemporary art is to withdraw beyond the static picture. My goal is to move viewer to perceive the feelings playing on the canvas, the movement of spots and lines that make up the mysterious fabric of the painting". Series "Moving emotions" is completely about this. People on the canvases call to dance, torn up, love and a burn out in a fire of sense. The second presented serie "Tedderness" is made in an academic style. It is playful, surprisingly for such a material as charcoal. The heroes of this series are a Teddy bear and a Girl in love with him. A man and a teddy bear at the same time - a combination for perfect friend and perfect lover who will never change and always understand a woman ... He fondles her lovely moods and pampers her in the cradle of his strong hands ...
Mesogios Victor, author of the series "Dragons in Barcelona", turns its attention to the theme of the Danger of Big City. As city is a place of danger for the fragile and delicate, vulnerable women, which is like a medieval princess on Victor's paintings. Woman in need of protection and patronage of her knight ... Dragons of danger wait for her everywhere ... Victor deeply convinced of the reality of European dragons in history, and seriously studying historical documents and scientific papers proving the presence of dragons.
In the paintings of Victor we are paradoxically dealing with a kind of lyrical hero, who came to us from a distant Dark Medieval ages and is ready to fight the terrible dragons ... This knight is also a hunter ... Hunter for dragons and for a great sense of love.
