Sometimes you reach a point where you realize:

“The life that got me here isn't necessarily the life I want forever.”

There's nothing wrong with having a 9–5. It provides stability and takes care of millions of families.

But if you're constantly thinking about building something of your own, learning a new skill, creating another source of income, or having more flexibility with your time… maybe that feeling is worth exploring.

That's what I decided to do.

I didn't wait until I knew everything. I didn't have the perfect circumstances. I simply started learning how to build my digital business alongside the life I already had.

I'm still learning. Still building. Still growing.

But at least I gave myself a chance. 🤎
Don't quit everything tomorrow. Don't chase promises of overnight success. Just start learning what other possibilities exist.

Sometimes a new chapter doesn't begin when you're completely ready.
It begins when you finally decide to try. ✨

For generations, many women were taught that being a “good woman” meant sacrifice.

Sacrifice your dreams.
Sacrifice your education.
Sacrifice your ambitions.
Sacrifice your time.

Keep giving until there is almost nothing left for yourself.

I respect the women who came before us. Many of them did what they knew, with the opportunities and circumstances they had.

But I am choosing something different.
I don't believe loving my children requires me to stop loving the woman I'm becoming.

I don't believe being a wife means abandoning my ambitions.

And I certainly don't believe pursuing my dreams makes me less devoted to my faith or family.

I want to raise my children. ❤️
I want to nurture my marriage.
I want to strengthen my relationship with Allah. 🤲🏾

I want to finish my education. 📚
I want to build my business. 💻
I want to take care of myself.
And I still have dreams with my name on them.

Will I make sacrifices? Absolutely. Every meaningful life requires them.
But there is a difference between making sacrifices and sacrificing your entire identity.

I want my daughters to grow up seeing that a woman can be nurturing and ambitious. Faithful and driven. Present for her family and committed to her own growth.

And I want my sons to grow up knowing that supporting a woman's dreams doesn't take anything away from the family—it can strengthen it.

Motherhood didn't erase the woman I was.
It gave the woman I'm becoming an even bigger purpose. 🤎

Alhamdulillah for every role Allah has given me—and for every dream I'm still brave enough to pursue.

For a long time, many of us were taught that adulthood was simply about surviving.

Work.
Pay the bills.
Take care of everyone.
Sleep.

Wake up and do it all over again.

And yes, responsibilities are real. We can't ignore them.

But somewhere in the middle of taking care of everything and everyone else, don't forget that you have a life to live too.

Learn something new.
Give that idea a chance.
Spend time with your children.
Take the little trip.

Work toward the dream you've been postponing.

Make du'a and take action. 🤲🏾
I'm learning that I don't need to have everything figured out before I start building differently.

I'm no longer interested in simply getting through life. I want to be present for it.
One step at a time. One decision at a time.
Stop surviving. Start living. 🤎✨

A year ago, I couldn't imagine some of the moments I'm experiencing today. 🤎

Today, I'm in Barcelona playing with my children, watching them laugh and drive their little toy car—and at the same time, I can still show up for the digital business I'm building.

That's the part I value most.

Not flashy promises.

Not overnight success.

Not pretending there's no work involved.
It's the flexibility.

Being able to work from my laptop or phone. Learning skills that allow me to build online. And most importantly,
creating more opportunities to be present for my children while still pursuing my own goals.

As an immigrant mom, that means so much to me.

Many of us were taught that providing for our families often means sacrificing most of our time. And sometimes that's necessary.

But I've started asking myself:
What if there are other ways we can learn to build too?

That's the journey I'm on now—and I'm seeing other immigrant moms learning new skills and exploring new possibilities alongside me.

I'm not promising that starting a digital business will automatically change your life. You still have to learn, work, stay consistent, and give it time.

Stop waiting for everything to fall perfectly into place before you begin.

The truth is, most people who are building something meaningful didn't start with everything figured out.

They started with what they had, learned along the way, made mistakes, adjusted, and kept moving.

While you're waiting for the perfect moment, someone else is already building imperfectly.

Your first step doesn't have to be big. It just has to happen. ✨

Start. Learn. Grow. Adjust. Keep going.
A year from now, you may be grateful you decided to begin today. 🤎

I kept waiting for the perfect time… until I realized the perfect time may never come.

You don't have to know everything. You don't have to have the perfect plan. And you definitely don't have to feel completely ready.

Sometimes you simply have to start, learn, adjust, and keep going. ✨

That's exactly what I'm doing with my digital business.

I'm still learning, still growing, and still figuring things out—but I gave myself permission to begin.

It’s never too late to learn something new. It’s never too late to start again. 🤎

Sometimes we look at where other people are and convince ourselves that we’re already behind. But everybody’s journey has a different starting point.

As a mom of six, I could have easily told myself, “I’m too busy. I have too many responsibilities. Maybe this isn’t the right time.” But I decided to start from scratch, learn something completely new, and take it one step at a time.

And if I can start, so can you.
You are more capable than you give yourself credit for. You don’t need to know everything. You don’t need to have everything perfectly planned.

You just need the courage to take that first step and the patience to keep learning.

Start small. Learn. Make mistakes. Improve. Keep going. 🌱
Your beginning doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to begin. ✨
