⭕️ DAY 11/100 — FROM BUSINESS CONNECTIONS TO REAL FRIENDSHIPS

Yesterday was one of those lovely reminders of why I started The Business Circle in the first place. ❤️

We had the pleasure of listening to Lady Jazz perform live at O’Brien’s, and I couldn’t resist a little selfie with her afterwards. 🎶❤️

But Anita van den Berg isn’t just an amazing performer — she’s also one of the founding members of The Business Circle, having been there consistently since the very early days.

And that’s something I’m incredibly proud of.

Because when you start a business network, you hope people will connect, recommend each other and do business together.

But what happens when those connections become genuine relationships, friendships and a community that extends beyond the networking table?

That’s when you know you’ve created something special. ⭕️

From those early Friday mornings to meeting 26 and beyond, the Circle continues to grow — and we’re seeing those relationships create opportunities in all sorts of unexpected ways.

Yesterday it was music, laughter and friendship.

Tomorrow it’s back to building the next chapter. 🚀

And we’re only just getting started.

⭕️ DAY 8/100 — 26 MEETINGS. 6 MONTHS. ONE BIGGER VISION.

Another brilliant Business Circle morning — and today felt like a milestone. ❤️

This was meeting number 26, which means we’ve now been building this network for around six months.

And when I look back at how it started, it really came from a personal need — my own “why”.

I wanted to create the kind of network I felt was missing.

A place where local business owners could come together, talk business, share knowledge, make genuine connections, support each other and actually get to know the people behind the businesses.

Six months later… look what’s happening. ⭕️

And today, as a direct result of the network we’ve created, we welcomed a very special guest — MMA fighter and Celebrity Big Brother winner Alex Reid.

Alex was an absolute pleasure to meet, and he fitted into the Circle brilliantly.

There were plenty of conversations, laughs and stories — and we’re already looking forward to hearing a lot more of those stories when we host a special evening with Alex in the near future. 👀

But today’s meeting wasn’t just about our guest.

It’s about what happens when you start with an idea, build genuine relationships and keep showing up.

26 meetings.
6 months.
One Circle.
And a much bigger vision ahead.

This is Day 8 of our 100-day journey — and we’re continuing to explore how we can take the Business Circle into new locations, new communities and new Circles across the Costa Blanca.

Something exciting is happening at tomorrow’s Business Circle… 👀

Tomorrow morning we’re back around the table at O’Brien’s for another Friday morning of connections, conversations, business and opportunity — and this week we have a very special guest joining us.

We’re keeping his identity under wraps for just a little longer… 😉

We’re welcoming a special guest visitor to the Circle — someone with an interesting background and a connection to one of our existing members.

We’re keeping a little bit of mystery around that one for now… 😉

But that’s also exactly what we’re loving about the Business Circle.

Every week brings new people, new businesses, new conversations and new opportunities.

And as we head towards the end of the year, we’re not just building the Circle at O’Brien’s — we’re looking at how we can take the Business Circle into new locations and communities across the Costa Blanca. ⭕️

⭕️ DAY 3/100 — THE BUSINESS CIRCLE IN ACTION

This is what the Business Circle looks like. 🤝

Yesterday we held our 25th Business Circle meeting at O’Brien’s — and these photos really capture what we’re about.

A table full of different businesses and backgrounds, but one common goal:

Connect. Share. Support. Grow.

There was plenty of business conversation, ideas and knowledge being shared — but just as importantly, there was laughter, relaxed conversation and genuine relationships being built.

And that’s something we’ve seen develop over the last 25 meetings.

The Business Circle isn’t about walking into a room, handing out business cards and walking away.

It’s about getting to know the people behind the businesses.

It’s about knowing who you can turn to when you need advice, who you can recommend with confidence, and where a conversation around a table might lead.

And this is only Day 3 of our 100-day countdown. ⭕️

⭕️ DAY 2/100 — 25TH BUSINESS CIRCLE MEETING

What a morning! ❤️

Today we celebrated our 25th Business Circle meeting at O’Brien’s — and it was exactly what these Friday mornings are all about.

There was plenty of laughter, conversation, business, shared knowledge and genuine connection.

We talked about what we’re doing, shared ideas, supported each other and, most importantly, enjoyed being together.

And the feedback afterwards in our WhatsApp group really summed it up:

👍 “Absolutely love our Friday mornings.”
❤️ “We have a little family and it’s great!”
😂 “Just lovely today and such a laugh.”

That’s what we’re building.

Not just another networking meeting.

A community of local businesses where people get to know each other, trust each other, share knowledge and create opportunities together.

And this is only Day 2 of our 100-day journey. ⭕️

⭕️ 100 DAYS TO BUILD THE CIRCLE — DAY 1/100 ⭕️

Yesterday marked the start of something we’re going to be sharing much more of over the next 100 days.

The Business Circle started at O’Brien’s with a simple idea:

Bring local business owners and professionals together, build genuine relationships and create opportunities through connection.

We’ve now held more than 20 meetings, welcomed new faces, seen people return, make connections, refer business and build relationships — and I believe it’s time to take the idea further.

So, over the next 100 days, we’re going to work on building new Business Circles in new locations across the Costa Blanca. 🚀

That means we’re looking for:

🤝 Business owners & professionals
📍 New locations
🏠 Potential venues
⭕️ Future Business Circle Hosts
💡 Local businesses wanting to collaborate
🌱 And people who want to help us grow the network

Tomorrow morning we’re back at O’Brien’s for another Business Circle — and with the kids back at school and Christmas now firmly on the horizon, it’s a great time to get connected.

The next few months are going to fly by, so this is the time to:

🌱 Grow your network and your opportunities
🔄 Refer and recommend trusted local businesses
💬 Share ideas, support and introductions

The Business Circle isn’t about handing out business cards and hoping for the best. It’s about building genuine relationships with people who know what you do, trust you and can recommend you when the right opportunity comes along.
