What are the benefits of smart bulbs:
The life expectancy of the bulb - on average a standard incandescent bulb will last for around 1000 hours, the same for halogen bulbs. A normal enegery saving (CFL) bulb lasts a lot longer at around 10,000 hours but an LED smart bulb will last 25,000 hours. So while they may cost more initially they pay for themselves over the lifetime of the bulb.

Power consumption -
Simply put LED smart bulbs cost less to run, the LED equivalent of a normal light bulb consuming 60W of power uses only 8W, a 75W bulb equals (it terms of brightness) only 9W
with an LED bulb. This amounts to a considerable saving in electricity costs over the life of the bulb.

Smart bulbs also offer additional benefits over all other types of bulbs. They can be remotely managed, this means they can be turned on/off at certain times automatically. This can be managed remotely so you don't even need to be present at the property.
