The earth is our friend and it needs our support ❤️

If you’ve been wanting to help, you might have come up with a few different ideas to live a greener lifestyle.

Re-cicloo (previously called Sabó i Més) is a unique, local, zero-waste shop in Valencia that motivates us to recycle and clean in an eco-friendly way.
Besides, they offer a variety of natural and vegan cosmetic products 🧴

The owners of Malafama Canyamelar must be into reverse psychology 🤯

Why?
Mala fama is Spanish for bad reputation, but this restaurant (which is one of my top favorites) has anything but that 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s famous for its super tasty, homemade pinchos and tapas🍤🧀🫒🥖

Now, let’s be real: we all know eating typical Spanish snacks is an essential part of Valencian life.

Valencia is a very bike-friendly city 🚲
It's full of cycle paths and bike rentals.
So, there are many options to choose from 🚦

- Valenbisi Oficial is Valencia's public bike-sharing system.
It's available 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. Currently, there are 275 Valenbisi stations throughout the city. It's a really convenient and cheap bike rental option. For more detailed information, read our blog post on our website.

- Verrassend Valencia offers comfortable Cortina bikes, e-bikes, tandems, and electric cargo bikes
If you’ve decided to stay in this beautiful city for a longer period of time, you can also choose to lease a bike (for at least 3 months) 🚵🏾‍♀️

- Sisi, from The Orange Guide, organizes fun bike tours. She's an official tour guide and knows all the ins and outs of the city. Everything will be taken care of, so you don't have to rent a bike yourself. A yummy surprise will be waiting for you as well... sounds good, right? 😏

- In popular areas such as El Carmen and Ruzafa, you'll stumble upon many bike rentals. Just take a peek and ask what they have to offer 🔎

because yeah, they are my heroes anytime I’m in desperate need of a random item.

To some people, walking past palm trees might be as normal as breathing...
To us, it's something special 🥰

As Dutchies, we didn't grow up with these beautiful, exotic trees.
So, they still give us an instant “vacation” feeling 🌴

Did you know that some palm trees grow dates? They’re called “Phoenix dactylifera” 🤓
If you find a bunch of raw ones on the streets, you know where they’re coming from!
Do we recommend eating dates? Yes.
Do we recommend eating dates off the ground? Not really 😂

They're very sweet and have a unique bright-colored juice that other citrus fruits don't have 🧐

Lots of major juice brands use these oranges in their products. So, why not get yourself a famous glass of Zumo de Naranja?! 😍
