Today we celebrate San Vicente Ferrer, patron of Valencia.
There are different activities in the city since XVI century, one of these are the plays: Miracles of San Vicente Ferrer. Children recite the miracles of the Saint around the different altars they put around the city.
This afternoon from 5.09 to 8.00pm you can enjoy this event in the old town and other neighbourhoods of Valencia.

⚖️✨The Water Tribunal of Valencia – a living tradition

Aaaaand we are back!

Did you know that Valencia is home to one of the oldest justice institutions in Europe?

The “Tribunal de dos aguas” meets every Thursday at the Apostles’ Gate of the Cathedral, where local farmers resolve irrigation disputes — just like they’ve been doing for centuries. It’s a unique tradition recognized by UNESCO and still active today.

Simple, oral, and held in public, it’s a fascinating example of how ancient systems are still part of daily life in Valencia 🌿

And yes… our Sunny Valencia guides had to go see it for themselves one day 👀☀️

🏫🌊 The Clock Tower of El Cabanyal’s Port

Standing right at the entrance of Valencia’s marina, this elegant clock tower is one of the most iconic landmarks of the old port area. Built in the early 20th century, it originally served as the headquarters of the port authority and became a symbol of Valencia’s maritime identity.

With its neoclassical style and its privileged location by the sea, it has witnessed decades of trade, fishermen life and the evolution of the harbour into today’s modern Marina.

If you’re exploring El Cabanyal or walking around the Marina, don’t miss this historic gem 🤍

(And we promise the weather is never this bad in Valencia🙃)

🔥✨ What is La Cridà in Valencia?

La Cridà marks the official beginning of Las Fallas, Valencia’s most famous festival 🎆

Every year, on the last Sunday of February, thousands of people gather in front of the Serranos Towers while the Fallera Mayor invites everyone to join the celebrations. “Cridà” literally means “the call” — a symbolic invitation to start the Fallas season.

Las Fallas itself dates back to an old carpenters’ tradition: they used to burn wooden structures in honor of Saint Joseph at the end of winter. Over time, these evolved into the huge artistic monuments we see today 🔥🎨

La Cridà is the emotional kickoff — a night full of fireworks, music and Valencian pride 💛

Have you ever experienced Las Fallas? 👀✨
More to come !
