What you’re looking for is right in front of you, as does what you fear 😳
Have you ever heard the phrase “eat the frog” 🐸. If you haven’t it’s another way of saying if you have two tasks to get done in front of you, choose the bigger, more difficult one to complete 💯
If you’re anything like I used to be, then you probably assume that starting with the easier task just to get it out the way and you have more time for the more difficult task is the smart way to move. ❌
Makes sense, I believed it too. But look at this perspective. If key to reaching high levels of performance and productivity is to develop the lifelong habit of tackling your major task and seeing them through to FULL completion. Wouldn’t it make sense to use the best of your energy on the task that matters the most, saving the rest of your mental focus and energy for the smaller tasks 🤷♂️😬
Successful, effective people are those who launch directly into their major tasks and then discipline themselves to work steadily and single-mindedly until those tasks are complete. 💰
Failure to execute is one of the biggest problems in organizations today. Many people confuse activity with accomplishment, though. They talk continually, hold endless meetings, and make wonderful plans, but in the final analysis, no one does the job and gets the results required.👀
Just some thought for you, as you continue your journey to success, make your mark in the world and impact others every step of the way ⚡️
