📢 New! Two-factor authentication (2FA) applied on Digital Mahder

I have applied the Two-factor authentication (2FA) system on Digital Mahder. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an improved security measure that requires two forms of identification: your password and a generated security code. When 2FA is enabled, users will receive a one-time password (OTP) via email that you must enter along with your password to log in.

Here is the logic:

1. If the user wants to configure 2FA, they will enter their email in the input field on the 2FA settings page and submit it.

2. A one-time password (OTP) will be generated and sent to their email.

3. The user should then enter the OTP in the input field on the 2FA verification page for validation.

4. If the OTP is valid, 2FA will be configured. If it is not valid, an error message will be shown in a session message. If the OTP has expired, they will need to request a new one. That's it.

Whenever they want to log in, if 2FA is configured, they will be redirected to a page for OTP verification.

Note: The OTP must be verified within 10 minutes to complete the authentication process. If the user does not enter the OTP within the specified time, it will expire, and they will need to request a new one. BTW: the expiration time can be decreased or increased in the source code.

I'm grateful to share that I have added 'Share to Threads' ( Threads: a new platform from Meta/ Facebook that is more or less similar to Twitter/ X) functionality to both Askwala and Digital Mahder. To be honest, Threads is relatively good for sharing functionality in my opinion. Additionally, QR code generation functionality has been added for every post on Askwala.

The first update on my platforms after the death of former Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, rest his soul.
